Welcome to my corner of FFN webspace. I've given up on writing anything despite being full of ideas, and mostly plan to just enjoy reading what the rest of y'all put out. My interest in sci-fi stuff is self-explanatory but Harry Potter is a guilty pleasure born of a long history of reading fics to the point that nearly everything is a probabilistic exercise. By now, I've read so many fics, a lot of fanon elements seem positively tropish.

I enjoy crossovers quite a bit. I enjoy AUs even more, probably because of the tremendous potential. Also into curbstomps, OP characters and HFY-style situations. However, I hate crappy dialogues, bad grammar and stories that seem to exclusively use the present tense without some real reason why. I also dislike stories that auto-devolve into harem-fics without any other key story elements.

Before that spawns a load of angry diatribes, I should explain that I do like those fics that invent some social or historical reason for the protagonist to end up in that situation - pureblood inheritance law for Harry Potter, or some sort of species repopulation drive for Mass Effect - as long as that is not the sole rationale or plot element I will encounter. There had better be other things going on than our protagonist's love life - they have a job to do, goddamit!
