![]() Author has written 6 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Artemis Fowl, and Legend of Zelda. If anyone would like an excerpt from the current novel I am writing, simply send me an PM with your request! If you are wondering why I chose a username like Soulless1, and would like to know my story. You shall recieve what you wish! As a matter of fact, I retract the description I have given before on the matter of the reason behind my unoriginal username. I originally was a very depressed person, and often viewed myself as lost. Not in a tragic and dark way, more in a romantical and wistful way. I chose to become Christian. My reasons for this incredible turn-around, is due to an event that happened on this very morning. 10/17/2011. I was on my way to class. My Laptop case and my book-bag in my left hand, a large McDonald's Sweet Tea and a Sausage Biscuit in my right. As I approached the doors of Southern State Community College in Hillsboro OH. I observed a table with two kindly looking old men behind it. The table in front of them piled high with green-covered books, each one barly large enough to fill your hand. One of them looked up at me as I struggled with my load, "Hello there young man, would you like a free Bible?" I nodded, my years in Faith and Hope Christian Academy surfacing in my memories, "Why not? I have six more Bibles at home!" "Well this one can fit in your pocket!"I reached over and tried to pick up on of the books. After a few tries, I managed to grip one. I made a quick joke about, "PPeople often ask me if I need a hand, but I usually tell them I need an extra foot!" Both men chuckled as I turned to the door. "God Bless you!" The other man smiled. I gripped the door handle with my left hand... Bad mistake. My tea slipped from my fingers and erupted across the concrete. Both men jumped up and proceeded to help me clean up the mess. The one who had addressed me before smiled, "Sorry about that, I'll bet that tea is your lifeblood on mornings like this!" I shook my head and tossed the now-empty styrofoam cup into a waste basket, "No, normally I share a large tea with my mother before she drops me off here." I watched in shock as the old fellow pulled out his wallet and handed me a 1 dollar bill, "Well how about this, why don't I buy you another tea?" Waiving my hands, I softly replied, "N-no thank you sir, you don't need to do that! I didn't really need the tea in the first place!" He persisted and forced the dollar into my hands, "Go ahead, get yourself a tea on your way home! And God Bless you!" Feeling like a parasite, I hung my head and accepted. As I passed through the door, I looked back and smiled, "God Bless you too!" And even now, I feel like somebody is trying to tell me something... and I just managed to finish deleting every-single file on my computer that would be offensive to anyone, and I feel hundreds of times better than I ever have in my ninteen years of life. The Following is a Poem I wrote. Please feel free to read it and tell me what you think! Trial Of A Hero By: Stephen L. Groves Chosen on on Earth below,Display of Courage thou must show.Enter tomb of stone Beneath,Treasure golden to thou bequeath.Beware the Guardian shall not suffer thee to pass,For his power is not to last.Enter then to claim thy prize,Hidden far from Mortal eyes. Before thou can claim,Thy portion of fortune and fame,Thou must prove and be doubly sure,That thy heart is truly pure. Free from bond left by deceit,Or thou must surly admit defeat.Grasp ye then hilt of sword,Given thee by gracious lord. A sword of power and shining light,Perfectly fit to join the fight.Travel now to edge of Dawn,Before all hope has finally gone. I leave to you the keys of truth,For I trust in you O brave youth. The path may twist beyond your sight,Walk always in the Light. Courage burns within your heart,Follow it to your journey's start.War is come to this far shore,None can know what's in store. Evil great has risen now,Fight you must, but how?Your blade strikes true, a mortal blow,It fades before the sword's mystic glow. Your toils long, your burdens heavy,You have earned peace, slow and steady.Rest great one,Your quest is done. A Legend is born upon this day,Where shall he go, none can say.A story that shall live into the dawn,His Royal Blood, has been drawn. This poem was written to reflect some of the ideas an plot points in my fanfic, 'A Hero's Blood'. A hero can often be taken for granted... desiring to be a hero can be the start of many things.Greed. Pride. Hatred. You must choose what to do in the end, will you be the one who saves a princess or stops a great evil force from destroying your home? There are many ways to save a life. Do it because you should... not because you want to.Love is the one thing that all people on this crumbling planet can look for. Spend your life looking for the right person to love... and I can guarantee you that you will not have wasted your life. Herein lies many strange facts about me... read at your own risk.
