 Real Name: Burke A. D. Vogel About me: I am extremely laid back and easy going; usually just playing video games or fooling around on the internet. I am very much into anime, Manga, and cosplay, and frequent many cosplay conventions here in Europe. I love all sorts of animals, intellectual conversation, and the sciences as well as art and the cultures of other countries like America and Russia. My first language was German, but I am highly proficient in English, having studied it for about nine years now. Some English slang (British, American, etc.) still evades me however, so I may come off as a bit too formal sometimes in terms of communication. I am apprenticing for a journalist here in Vienna, but I am planning on becoming a foreign exchange student to America in order to double major in what I really want to do; Russian Studies and Sociology, with a minor in German Studies. However, I do plan on continuing writing for a long time to come! If you have any questions or comments whatsoever, don't hesitate to talk with me. I'm really nice, well mannered, and give everyone a chance, so don't feel like a burden. :) Types of Fanficiton I write (Genres/What to expect from me): -Language I write in: I almost always write in English, as it is universal. However, I may write a bit in German eventually. -I love working with a variety of different emotions and genres, and fanficiton is a wonderful outlet for such writing. I tend to write mainly about romance. However, I ALWAYS have an underlying darker, or more morbid issue that each character is facing along side trying to win a romantic relationship or partner. These morbid themes almost always include one or more of the following; crime, characters struggling with inner conflict, character confusion about their own emotions or thoughts as they try to fit into society, and mental issues. However, all of my pieces always end with a resolution of most or all problems, so don't worry! Not everything I write is completely morbid, and usually has a nice ending. Music is extremely inspiring for fanfiction; especially songs with a darker undertone and a hazy, difficult to interpret message. I'm not talking about "emo" or gothic music; but songs that are more works of art than anything. -WARNING: I write for many anime shows, but with romance, I almost always write male x male, or yaoi. Depending on the story, the explicit nature of the content could range from mild to severe, so be sure to check ratings. I am a male, but am not gay; I don't believe you have to be to write for same sex couples. I merely believe that same sex pairings usually share a deeper bond and can prove to host a very fulfilling story.
