I also hate it when the story goes to fast and doesn't have any detail at all. If you want me to read your story then you better have a good summary for it. If a story doesn't have a good summary then I just move on. A good story has at least 1,000 words per chapter. For me that means that the story has a lot of detail and the writer knows what he's doing.
