This begins in the aftermath of Basic Sandwich. I started writing this (a year ago!) when it became known that season 6 wouldn't begin until mid-March, and needed something to keep me busy. The title comes from the song "I Will Wait" by Mumford and Sons.

But what will she do when her mother's arriving soon and she doesn't have a fiancee? Update when can.

Something happened before Annie went to Washington and now she has nothing else to do

[ set post season 6 ] Annie's gone to DC for an internship, and Jeff can't stop thinking about her. One spontaneous flight later, and they have a lot of talking to do.

During Season 6. Annie and Jeff are in a secret relationship with Jeff being a teacher. As they try to keep their relationship secret many things like past relationships, family members and friends come in their way. Will they end up together or will other people cause them to fall apart

Post-Pascal's Triangle Revisited, mostly set during season two. After they kissed, things got a little heated - Jeff and Annie ended up back in Jeff's apartment, and one thing led to another. Three months on and he's been avoiding her all summer, but maybe her reasons for contacting him were more important than he first assumed.

Jeff is invited to a family reunion, and Annie ends up tagging along.

"But I think to really sell it," Abed muses. "We need a kiss. I mean, you guys are about to die. What would keep you from going for it?" Alternate/Missing scene for 6x08.

When Jeff really thinks about it, on those days he's feeling light and drunk and happy, he maybe flirts with the thought that, hey, yeah, maybe he's going to be fine. Post-6x04.

If Annie thought she could keep a secret from an overzealous former-anarchist psychologist, she had another thing coming. A semi-AU season 6 pushing into currently-absent-from-season-6-canon Jeff/Annie stuff - plus some general opinion-based stuff regarding new episodes - with chapters (eventually) covering each weekly episode release.

Jeff wakes up in the hospital to find Annie has stayed to keep an eye on him. They talk about both sides of the events at the hospital, Jeff admits a couple of things, and maybe they come to trust one another a little more along the way.
