I've been a roleplayer for years now and have written and participated in many, many different genres. Over the years my writing style evolved and improved and as such, here I am. I currently have a novel that I have both on my computer and in my head that I am still fleshing out. But seeing as how I enjoy fanfics and roleplaying in general, I decided to start an account here and do some writing of my own.

As for my style, it has constantly shifted and changed over the years, but much of it has been greatly influenced by Terry Goodkind. I also try and draw upon the classics for my inspiration as well since I have been a fan of classic literature since I've been a child. I also am a student of mythology and folklore as well ranging from Arthurian Legend to Native American Lore and even childrens fairytales. I believe that there is a lot to learn from the Brother's Grimm and even Aesop as well as some of the more modern fairy stories.

My protagonist of most of my works, particularly Gabriel Noah Alexander, I've used in several different roleplays. Each time the character, personality-wise and overall general appearance tends to be similar, with differences lying in the situations he has found himself in, or the overall background of the story. Typically, however, you will see him with raven black hair, of athletic build, a goatee, and a smile on his face. He is somewhat laid back, but at the same time, enjoys sophistication and class. This makes him versatile enough to make friends of the rich as well as the impoverished. He usually always carries with him experience and is good at handling difficult situations. This often leads to him being forced into difficult situations or chasing after the "impossible." Still, once his heart is set, it is difficult to move it and he has a hard time getting over those things that he has set his heart upon, but never fully reached. Due to his traveling nature, he is a man of culture and can easily impress others. He makes few enemies, but the enemies he does make, usually despise him, mistaking his optimism for sheer arrogance. Still, he always generally tries to make good decisions and is good at coming up with a plan at the time when it is most needed.

Enough about my character though. Although I enjoy throwing him into many different situations and roleplays to see if he can sink or swim and to stretch my writing abilities, I have dabbled with other characters from time to time. Personally, I like the challenges it presents me to try something I've never tried before even if it is considered out of the ordinary.

As for my general likes, aside from reading and writing, I enjoy art, music(mostly rock), Johnny Cash, the outdoors, sushi, science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, a good action flick, the paranormal, physics, science, languages, mythology, archaeology, theater, Dr. Pepper, and the list goes on and on.

Things I dislike: The fact that there is no "White-Hispanic" checkbox on any government or educational form anywhere so I have to pick "Other." Bad drivers, close-mindedness, musicals, chick-flicks(you know what a chick flick is), onions, cucumbers, smart cars, spiders, sharks, Twilight/Stephanie Meyer, Glee, my alarm clock, R&B, hippies, drugs, l33t sp33k, some nurses, too much humidity, and bosses who feel that they need to ram a broomstick up their butt every morning before they go to work(yeah, you know the kind).

I was drawn here by my close friends, fellow RPer, and partner in crime, YumeKaiTheJedi, so if you like my style, you'll like hers. She's influenced me a lot along the way and has also helped shape me into the writer that I am. I am also a very visual person, so over time, you'll see this "About Me" section get better looking and more clean cut maybe even with a pic or two and some variations in Font Style and Size as well as other visual enhancements. And just to be original, I probbably won't change this last paragraph at all either. So even now, IF it does look all updated and creative looking, I'll still have you wondering if I'm going to do more and add more. I'm just mean like that. Or maybe not. Time will tell, I guess.
