Barely escaping with his life, he gets rescued by Conan. Now that Kaito Kuroba should be dead, Conan and Ai come up with an… idea on how to keep him hidden in plain sight. Crack fic.

Thugs, who had mistaken him for Shinichi Kudo, attacked Kaito. Conan stops the attack and tries to coax information about it out of Kaito, who for all he knows is a regular civilian. However, Conan is sent reeling as he finds the tables constantly turned on him due to him unknowingly underestimating the great Kaitou KID. Story complete.
