Hey there guys! I'm kickartist, and this is my profile - where you'll find out a little bit about me, a little bit about my writing and a whole lot about my obsessions; varied and random as they are. I was directed towards this site by a good friend of mine (who shall remain nameless), and so you can either thank them or blame them depending on what you think of my writing.

I'm pretty new to actually writing stories, but I've been coming up with them for years for use in the various tabletop RPGs that I run. In my time, I've dabbled in a bit of D&D, a bit of the Song of Ice and Fire RPG and a tiny little bit of the Dresden Files RPG, mixed with a minuscule pinch of the Cthulu RPG. However, I've got to be straight with you guys and come out and say that I am simply obsessed with Shadowrun (if you couldn't tell from my handle already). I've only been running regular sessions of Shadowrun for about two or three months now, but I just love the atmosphere and the despicable characters that can be created with such ease. My Shadowrun sessions were really what prompted me to start writing again, and I've taken a huge amount of inspiration from these sessions so I really have to say a big thank you to my Runners - M & C (you know who you guys are). It's their stories that you will be reading, so I hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

Aside from being a massive nerd on the tabletop front, I'm also big into gaming and digital artwork (be it making the art, looking at the art or simply talking about it). As a side note, if I wasn't so afraid that I would utterly butcher his work, I have no doubt that I would be writing Game of Thrones stories - but I feel that George RR Martin pretty much nailed it first time around. In terms of particular areas of fiction that really grab my attention, I would say that Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Crime are really my big three, but I'll pretty much read anything with a fairly solid plot and some compelling characters.
