Senior year was beginning and everything was looking up for Veronica. She was popular, she had hot guys drooling for her, and she got news that her old best friend was moving back in town. Okay, maybe that last part wasn't really going to go in her favor.

Life before Westerburg wasn't any better for Jason Dean. His trials and tribulations were never explored at a deeper level, however. What was his life like? What lead up to his mother's suicide? The writers did have an alternate ending. One they thought was a little wild, even for a dark comedy. One where J.D. did blow up the school. This is my account on what could've happened.

Alternate ending to the movie. Veronica has saved the day. By pulling the alarm at the end of the pep rally she is able to get everyone out of the school, including her first love Jason Dean. She thinks her life is back to normal until JD returns with one thing in mind: getting Veronica back. Can she resist his charm or will she run out of friends first?

Make the most of a second chance...they don't come around often.
