![]() Author has written 1 story for Les Miserables. Mascot who am i ? I am a college student pursuing a degree in Art History and i enjoy reading ...mostly classics. i haven't read them all but i'm working on a few. Hugo is one of my favorite authors. I like his style of writing though i understand these romantic writers of that day were paid by the sheer volumn of words. I read the 'brick' (Les Miserables for those who are unaware) and it remains one of my all time favorites next to his other works, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame . There is a correlation between the image of Javert and of that of Claude Frollo, not surprising as there is one between Hugo's two characters Val Jean of LM and that of a condemned criminal in The Last Day of a Condemned Man. His other work The Toilers of the Sea could have been abridged and still retained the plot... but i degress. I've also read some of Charles Dickens work A Tale of Two Cities, Shakespere's Twelfth Night and of course Midsummer Nights Dream and Fiztgerald's piece The Great Gatsby. I'm in the process of writing a book- but it's not here on this site. I've written one story so far to see what my writing style is like. Hopefully, when i publish my other book i'll have garnered some wonderful writer's knowledge. I'm always surprized to see the variety of writing styles out there. Keep up the writing! Other things i enjoy: I love chocolate, coffee, listening to music but mostly just hanging out with my friends. |
