Life after the fire at the Opera Populaire is wonderful for Christine and Raoul- at first. Within months, their freshly wedded bliss has worn off and soon they are no longer even speaking to each other. Christine's mind begins to wander back to her angel of music and the life she could have had with him.

An AU that follows the events of the movie, borrows a bit from the book. Christine isn't as terrified of the Phantom as she thinks she is, and she isn't in love with Raoul as he thinks she is. What will happen when the young soprano decides to save her angel? I own nothing but the plot of the story.
