Ah, at last I suppose it's time for an update!!

My name is still Nicole, but a lot has changed in the past four years.

First off, I got married to a man I have known for eight years, but feel like it's been all my life. He gets me in a way that few do.

On top of that we have two of the smartest, cutest and greatest boys on the planet ( i know, every mother says that, but it true!!)

So if you do the math, I am now 21 and although I have achieved many of life's personal goals, I still have no direction.

I am wandering aimlessly through my life, trying to make it from one milestone to the next with no real sense of acomplishment.

Where i'll end up it's anyone's guess...

but for now I am honing my talents here on this website for all you people, trying to become the best writer i can be and maybe gain a few shreds of confidence in my abilities so that one day I can write all on my own.

I'm my own worst critic and it inhibits me from sharing my writing, but the anominity of this place gives me solace.

To fellow writers, those who have found words to be the ultimate drug, the greatest escape, i salute you.

You have seen hardship, heart ache and pain and you have risen above it, using your words as a guide to a better place, not only for you but those who shall follow.

Writing is the hardest of the arts, a pen and paper must be our only tools to enlist all the senses and the imagintations of our readers. Use them well, and lead the next generation into a place of peace with themselves.

that was a bit more... philisophical than i intended, but i feel like i don't write the words so much as the words use me to write themselves. I go where they take me...and it's been one hell of a ride :D
