Sebastian, a native of Seattle, has a longstanding interest in all matters to do with consciousness, cannabis, and plant-based medicines. His focus has always been on innovation, helping take long-standing indigenous technologies and practices from across the world and transforming them into a forward-thinking, American form. By stripping away the dogmatic beliefs that often surround those practices, and applying a certain scientific standard, he wants to provide people with safe, easy access to the medicines that they need.

Psychiatry became a particular interest for Sebastian when he entered the community mental health field. During his six years in an in-home care facility, he soon saw first-hand the hugely negative ramifications of the pharmaceutical industry on patient welfare. This, coupled with his own experiences with many types of antidepressants that just didn't work, moved him to search for alternative care methods.

Sebastian began exploring the possibilities of cannabis for patients in 2004, which was largely inspired by the deep commitment to customer service that his career had instilled in him. Over the intervening years, he has studied plant medicine in Iquitos, Peru, and used that experience to help found and manage Interra Oils, a CO2 extraction company which has since become a market leader in additive-free oil vape cartridges. In 2011, he founded a cannabis testing lab to help improve the quality and consistency of medicinal marijuana available to patients.

It was after studying Kambo in the Amazon that Sebastian began counselling people in the West, helping them to discover the holistic and plant-based solutions to their problems that would free them from dependency on pharmaceuticals.

With fifteen-plus years in the health and wellness industry, Sebastian sought to bring his knowledge and services to the general public with a one-on-one consultation service. With this, he helps to enable individuals to be the best person they can, by utilizing a unique combination of traditional indigenous technologies couple with the most up-to-date innovative methodologies available in the healthcare world. His counselling service pays particular attention to habits and addition, self-optimization, and consciousness development.

Always looking to move onwards and upwards with his counselling service, Sebastian saw that there was a market need in the service industry to provide accommodation to travelers visiting Washington State to access marijuana for medicinal purposes. In 2106, he opened the Winston House, a bed and breakfast where he also conducts sessions designed to help guests improve their health and personal development. In the future, he hopes to attract many more visitors with his passion and dedication for promoting the intentional use of plant medicines such as cannabis, whether for medical or recreational use. With a vast network of professionals dedicated to educating people on the numerous benefits that this approach to healthcare can bring, Sebastian is dedicated to helping to start a revolution in the way that we look at medicine.

As well as his counselling and accommodation work, Sebastian also writes for Eden Labs and Kush Tourism, conducting research and development for the former, too.
