Update! 3/21/2016

Pack Mentality is finished. I just finished uploading the complete rewrite and the epilogue. Plenty has changed, but the overall plot is the same. Just because this story is over, doesn't mean I'm done writing on this topic. Owen's story has only just begun and after discussing it with some friends, I decided it would be better to cut the story here and start a new story rather than just keep adding onto Pack Mentality. So, Pack Bonds is now in my queue and should slowly get written over the course of this year. It all depends on my free time and energy for the project. I can at least assure you that I am more excited to be writing new material than editing old material like I have been for the past 8ish months.

Until those updates become regular, I would encourage everyone to read or re-read Pack Mentality. I am actually pretty pleased with how it turned out and what it's setting up for. It's not perfect by any means but I was able to weed out some minor and major flaws in the first draft.

For those of you wondering where I've been and why I just seemed to drop off the face of the earth awhile ago, the answer lies in my time commitments. Some of you are aware that I actually run my own non-profit business in wildlife education. This work is the equivalent of an unpaid full time job. On top of this, I worked two more part time jobs and have been pursuing my Bachelors degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Sciences so I can better teach people about nature, wildlife and the outdoors. All of these commitments left little time or energy for writing.

I cannot promise things will change going forward, but I did drop one of my part time jobs so I was able to get a little more free time as of a month or two ago. Anyway if you have any questions or just want to chat, leave me a message!
