I used to write fanfiction, but I don't any more. I stopped writing it regularly at the beginning of 2013, and I haven't written any fics at all since 2014, so I can safely say that it's not a hobby of mine any longer and it probably won't ever be again.

I decided to delete all of the stories that I had published here because I was no longer happy with them. I've grown a lot as a writer and as a person since I started writing fanfiction, and most of my fanfics fall way below my current standards. There was also some of content in my fics that I included because I assumed that it would draw in more readers, rather than because it was what I actually wanted to write about, and I was no longer comfortable with having that content online. I'd like to apologise to anyone who is disappointed that I've deleted a story or stories that they really liked. I've experienced that myself, and part of the reason that I didn't delete my stories sooner was because I didn't want to let my readers down, but in the end, I think that deleting them was the right decision.

I've been asked more than once if I would send the fics I've taken down to people who read and liked them in the past so they can read them again, but the answer to that question is no. I promise you, they're not as good as you remember, and you're not missing out on anything.

I also removed a lot of stories from my favourites because I haven't read them in several years and so can't vouch for the quality any longer and I don't care to reread 100 stories to see if I still like them. If I faved a story of yours and it's not on my faves list any more, then it's for that reason, not because I think the story is bad. I'm not sure how well I remember the ones I didn't unfavourite either, so I may remove more in the future when I have more time.
