This is my first attempt at Arrow fan fiction, so be kind, please. This story picks up where episode 6 of season 2 left off after Oliver's final exchange with Felicity in his office following their return from Russia, incorporating items from episodes 7, 8 and 9, but taking a different spin on the Sebastian Blood/Slade storyline.

When Oliver Queen comes back to Starling city after almost 6 years of absence, he decides to find his old IT girl again. He expects her to be angry for how they parted but what he doesn't expect is to find her with a 5 year old daughter who may or may not have his exact eye color. Felicity will protect her daughter at any cost, even if she had to break her own heart in the process.

Oliver finally visits Felicity's apartment, and make a discovery that will change the course of their lives forever. Born from a speculation post on Tumblr that got wildly out of hand. Season 2 spoilers. Angst, STRAIGHT UP ANGST. Consider yourself warned.

This is my first Arrow fanfic, and I've been dying waiting for someone to come out with one about Slade capturing Felicity, so I just decided to write my own. THIS IS AN OLICITY STORY. Written in both POV. Takes place after 2X09. Please make sure to read and review.

When Diggle disappears, Oliver and Felicity travel to Russia to track him down. But their trip is interrupted by the presence of Isabel Rochev, and things do not go as planned. What happens in Russia doesn't always stay in Russia...

An off-hand challenge from Oliver and a teasing response from Felicity lead to a series of conversations and situations that explore what motivates them to keep pushing forward - and one of those things, they quickly learn, is each other.

Tangled up in the investigation is Oliver's newfound attraction to Felicity, testing his resolve to steer clear of romantic entanglements. The story doesn't follow the show's storyline faithfully, but has a few parallels.

Felicity knew she shouldn't have accepted Oliver's offer to train with her.

Oliver gets himself a bit more involved in protecting Felicity. Or: Three times he responds to false alarms at her apartment, and one time it's real. A bit of shameless fun, a bit of Felicity whump, protective!Oliver, and observant!Diggle. Romance if you squint. Will be 3-4 chapters.

So I got bitten by the inspiration bug and now my one-shot has become a budding story in my head - What if Felicity Smoack figured out Oliver Queen's secret? Credit for the awesome new cover goes to dhfreak :)
