"You're sick." Kanan said, resting his hand on the back of the seat. "So?" Ezra asked, resting his head on his fist. "I'm not holding you back." "Not holding us back?" Kanan echoed. "On missions," Ezra clarified, "It'll pass in a few days."

Tadashi didn't die in the fire, but he emerged from the ashes as a whole new person due to mysterious circumstances. Hiro learns this the hard way when he manages to knock the mask off of the person who attacked him and his friends; and when he manages to get himself kidnapped by the person he used to call 'brother'. When the gang went to visit Abigail Callaghan in the hospital, they never could have expected the complications that would come with the waking of an unidentified patient down the hall. On indefinite hiatus.

It wasn't just Hiccup releasing him from the bola that made him stay. There was another reason as well one that only he seemed to notice and took upon himself to fix because no youngling should ever have to feel alone.
