AU. Unbeknownst to Regina, there's a stipulation of her casting the curse: its maker has the ability to decide and change where and how everyone ends up, not the caster. Which means that the current mayor of Storybrooke is decidedly not Regina Mills.

When a thief in the night follows a trail of blood and finds a woman asking for freedom, he'll risk all to give it to her, because some thieves have honor, and some King's lack any at all.

The moment Regina woke up, she knew something was off. As soon as she tried to move her legs, she knew what it was. She was barely able to lift her legs up. Walking was almost impossible. Her entire life she had been able to run away but now she was a prizoner.

Set at the start of season 2. Instead of the wraith, Rumplestiltskin goes for something a little more personal, sinister, and slower when it comes to killing Regina. He curses Regina and Emma stays by her side as Regina wastes away. They have roughly a month to find a cure for a curse without one. If anyone can do the impossible, it should be them. Maybe. Marian has much to learn in this strange place called Storybrooke, at least she is among familiar friends, at least she has been reunited with her husband and son. But people keep looking at her strangely and there's a distance with Robin now that squeezes her heart and why do people trust the Evil Queen?

Destiny. That's what the Dark One tells them, an odd strain on his face whenever he speaks to Regina. That's what they're facing here. An inevitable ending. Regina has orchestrated her death once, and she'll do it again, because that's the only way this story can end. No one can interfere, not even Marian herself, and only Regina can control whether or not that moment is it.

AU Every night when Queen Emma falls asleep she becomes Emma Swan, or is it the other way around? When she meets beautiful Regina in both worlds simultaneously, she begins to question all she's ever believed.

Swan Queen, AU, set in FTL: "When I was a child," Emma began, her voice sounding more genuine and human than it had since their reunion began. "You used to talk to me about true love...the magic of it, the poetry of it. I yearned for that as a child. I wanted someone to love as you two loved each other." Emma recognized the signs of someone crying their heart out, even when muffled, from miles away. The soft shaking of the woman's hunched shoulders just confirmed it. She had taken one step, and another, and then she had just stopped. (Slow burn, character study story, complete)

The curse breaks and Regina is held prisoner by the citizens of Storybrooke to be made to pay for her crimes. But she is no longer the same person she once was: Emma gave her back her heart and a gift she never believed would be possible.

In an act of desperation, Regina casts a spell that takes her back to the day Henry leaves for Boston. She wants to keep Emma from ever entering Storybrooke, but when she takes Henry's place, she finds herself completely unprepared for the woman who answers the door. Regina has a chance to do it all again, but no matter what, she can't escape one fact. All magic comes with a price.

Set in season 2, after Hook and Cora have been dealt with. Regina is rattling around in her lonely life and Emma is struggling to handle the strangest year of her life, with unfamiliar support systems and too many responsibilities. Is it possible the one person who'll understand is the person she can't quite bring herself to trust? TW: suicidal ideation, gunplay, substance abuse

My very own season 2. Magic has returned to Storybrooke, and Regina seizes her opportunity for revenge. But plans go awry as an unexpected enemy surfaces, leaving the townspeople reeling in the wake of a tragic loss. No Swan Queen, but lots of good Emma/Regina, Regina/Henry and Emma/Henry moments to come. Plenty of Snow/Charming/Emma as well.

After the curse is broken,Emma has a difficult time adjusting to life in the Enchanted Forest and seeks out a disgraced Regina to help her navigate fairy-tale land. Whimsy and romance ensue. **This work has been abandoned***

AU Badass!Emma/Rumpelstilskin early Emma/Gold . Also Red/Belle. Belle got the wrong Beast, Emma saves the world and gets cursed?, and somehow ending up in Fairy Tale Land is more complicated than it should be.

NOW COMPLETE. When Emma repays the favour owed to Mr. Gold, she finds it is the key to many things in Storybrooke, including her heart. Rated M for later chapters. SwanQueen.
