Hello! My name is Stephanie, I'm 18 and freshman in college at UCO. I'm currently majoring in Creative Writing, with a minor in Philosophy. I've been off the grid for a while, I've been trying to, for lack of a better word, find myself. Build a life Philosophy, if you will. I'm not religious in the slightest, but I believe that everyone needs something to work towards, and a constant stream of Moral values to keep them on what they consider the right track for their life. No matter how strict, or liberal they seem to the outside eye.

I've been looking at beliefs such as Hinduism, and Buddhism, Confucianism, even some Christianity, as well as old texts from the ancient philosophers, as well as more recent ones. I've found a lot of things I don't agree with buried deep within each of them, but I've been trying to borrow the ones I do like and form my own philosophy, and hopefully give my life some direction. It's still a work in progress, but I hope, in time, that it will come into fruition.

I'm clumsy, like a hazard to myself and everyone around me clumsy. Unless you put a soccer ball at my feet. Then I am extremely graceful. I have been told it looks like I'm dancing when I have a ball at my feet.

I'm book smart, but my common sense sometimes goes on extended vacations.

I can have a conversation with you, and then forget what we were talking about five minutes later.

Red is my favorite color.

The rain makes me happy.

I adore stormy weather, the drearier the better.

I adore music.

I play the guitar, violin, and piano.

I am infatuated with "The Little Mermaid", and have been since I was about four.

My favorite band currently is "Otep", my favorite song by them is a tie between 'Filthee', 'Perfectly Flawed', and 'Crooked Spoons'. Honestly their all great though. I mean come on it's a girl growler! FUCKING SEXY!!

I like to write poetry, but I like to read it and analyze it more.

I've recently developed a liking for Hermione Granger and and the older characters; like Bellatrix, Minerva, and Narcissa. I enjoy the complexity of these stories. Plus Hermione, in my opinion, is just far above the caliber of her peers, and while I enjoy reading stories that involve Hermione and her peers, I rather enjoy reading the former.

I know it has been a while since I have been on here, and I apologize for that. I do plan on continuing my story "Lemon Blossoms", but not at the moment. I have; however been contemplating writing a story about Hermione and either Alice or Rose from Twilight, or maybe just and OFC of my creating. If anyone has any preferences let me know, because I have started loads of chapters only to scrap them because they didn't feel right.

I've recently become enamored with Jazz Chanteuse's and just Blues/Jazz in general, and so I think I may write a fic that incoporates that into it, though it probably won't be a major plot bunnie in it's own right.

Oh, and if I do write this fic I'll be looking for a beta reader to help me. I'll want their advice on certain aspects of my writing that I'm trying to improve upon, as well as their advice on how to advance the polot; like weather it's moving too fast and feels rushed, or too slowly and feels stagnant.
