Sonic is thrust into a brand new world of heroes and villains. He may think that the worst thing to happen to him is being forced into boring classes, but he doesn't know about the darkness hiding behind every corner, eyes watching his every move. He has to learn quickly that being a hero isn't all about fancy footwork.

An average chase through the Ghost Zone goes awry and Danny gets sucked into a portal to another world, unable to get back home. As he struggles to find a way back he comes to appreciate this hero-glorifying society he's found himself in, but he'll soon learn that the villains of this world are not to be underestimated.

They say the one thing you can't outrun is yourself, and this was even truer for Danny. After his life spirals out of control again because of a single moment of carelessness which unfortunately brings back the memories he tried to bury about his evil self, he realizes there is only one person that can help him keep those fears at bay.
