"Because Chat Noir is dating Marinette." Or in which Lila lies, Adrien panics, and Marinette gets stuck being Chat Noir's fake girlfriend.

One night after patrol, Plagg challenges Adrien with the question "What if Marinette wasn't just a friend?". This sets into motion a fluff-filled chain of events that leaves Marinette confused, causes Adrien to rethink everything, and has their Kwamis playing matchmaker.

She didn't like him, she didn't. She told her self that over and over again. But it didn't stop the feeling from overcoming her. And it happened slowly, until it hit. No matter how hard she tried not to. She loved her partner. She loved him. Now, the question was, what in the world was she gonna do about it? Were they even possible?

Adrien Agreste is done with being called "perfect". He decides to take matters into his own hands and let Chat Noir bleed into his civilian life.

Everyone in Paris had always assumed that if Hawkmoth were to die, it would be mid-battle with the superheroes, or maybe in a jail cell years down the road, after being defeated. No one expected him to die suddenly in a car crash on a sunny afternoon. Least of all, his son.

It had been exactly 1 month, 3 weeks, 5 days, 8 hours, and 17 minutes since Marinette Dupain-Cheng accidentally found out that Chat Noir was Adrien Agreste. Approximately 10 seconds after that moment, Adrien Agreste discovered that Marinette Dupain-Cheng was Ladybug. (Not that Marinette was keeping track or anything.) However, their biggest secrets were yet to be revealed.

After a cold, snowy night in Marinette's room, the last thing either hero expects is what it leads to. Things can only get more complicated from here.

She knew it wasn't a good idea. Her best friend told her it wasn't a good idea. However, here she was walking home late at night. "Adrien help..." she whispered, not realizing those words coming out of her trembling lips. She didn't know why she called him at a time like this. She should have called for Chat as he was on patrol, she never knew Adrien would come to her rescue.

(Title change! Used to be what's the deal?) Gabriel is concerned about Adrien's popularity in the media. In hopes o boot his publicity he proposes his son finds himself a girlfriend…even if he doesn't particularly want one.
