But none of the children can forget the loved ones who didn't arrive there with them, and for Littlefoot and Cera, it's hard to let go of the events of the journey. Sonic zooms back into the past but finds the Great Valley stripped of plant life. The dino families have left in search of green food. Sonic must protect his dino friends once again when Littlefoot and the other kids find themselves stranded on a 'Mysterious Island'. Sonic and kids also meet a familiar face.
