This is one such path, where the course of destiny is defied and the path of a Knight is forged in blood, steel, and magic. This is the Rise of the Remnant Knight.

So...it's time for my first attempt. Let's see how Class 1A could react to their future as well as to the many secrets revealed.

In Jaune Arc's eyes, death was a finality of life but not something to be scared of. Though in truth it was't something a high schooler really cared about. However when things start to happen that set course to shatter the world he knows. He realizes that in Death's eyes it didn't matter who or what they were, for they were all the same to Death. Jaune had no interest in Ozpin's latest training initiative, especially when it pit boys against girls across Beacon. Cowardice or not, he intended to hide and wait the whole thing out. Leading the male alliance wasn't part of the plan, nor was becoming mankind's final hope. He was a coward, an idiot and a weakling. It was just a shame no one would believe him when he said so!

When Jaune woke up back in his house with his sisters and family, all he could do was sigh. Every time he died he was forced to start over again, and this was what... the one thousandth time? More? If it doesn't matter how hard he tries, doesn't matter how much he fights. Then maybe it's time to just kick back and enjoy himself. Fate can find someone else to be its whipping boy.
