As for music, I'm very into the alternative rock, progressive metal.

Coldplay, The Cranberries, A Perfect Circle, Muse and Korn.

Not to mention my japanophile-esque nature, JRock is my ear candy as well.

I would say to throw some 90's pop and Screamo. Just for kicks.
