You can call me Kayla for short.

I am a writer mainly dabbling in fantasy, fan fiction, and screen writing. I started writing when I was 15 years old after reading a story my friend was working on and I have never looked back since. It wasn't until a couple years ago that I decided to start taking my writing seriously, and now I am working towards one day hopefully publishing my first novel.

I can usually be found writing and watching some TV show on Netflix. I am a huge fan of character-driven TV shows. I am a geek (and proud of it) and part of the SuperWhoLock fandom.

I am an introvert so I tend to live in my head, which I am not ashamed of. I have come to learn there is nothing wrong with wanting to spend my Friday nights curled up on the couch working on my book rather than hanging out with people.

I used to write just for myself because I was afraid of what people would say about my writings. Now that I want to become a more serious writer, I realize that means that I need to let other people read my stuff - and not just close family and friends. It hasn't been easy letting go and putting my stories out there for the world to see, but I'm learning. I realize I can't become a better writer if I don't let others read my works. So the purpose of creating this profile is so I can share my fan fiction with others and hopefully grow as a writer.
