I didn't object to Tauriel as an OC in the Hobbit movies but I think her story line could have been handled better. In the book the Company was imprisoned for two weeks. This story expands the time from the movie to accommodate more interactions between characters, especially Tauriel&Kili. Characters, locations obviously do not belong to me. Some movie dialogue used for continuity.

My take on the marriage law idea. Fred and Hermione are thrown together completely out of the blue because the Ministry has decided that they need more wizarding blood. Can real love blossom, or will it be a mutually understood friend-relationship? And what happens when someone tries to sabotage the bonds? Will anything ever be normal?
