A little detail about me...

It all started with Jane Austen fanfic. I had heard of fanfic before, but never had enough courage to try it. Eventually, however, after re-watching the 1995 versions of Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility for the umpteenth time, I plucked up enough courage. Soon, dwiggie.com was no longer enough, so I turned to what was apparently one of the most reputable fanfic websites out there. fanfiction.net. And from there, it was inevitable. Inevitable that my curiosity would be piqued. I delved into the cavernous reaches of the Harry Potter Archive, and got sucked in. I was a silent wraith-like presence on this website, devouring fanfic for about two or three years until I decided to finally get my profile up for stuff that I had written. My fandoms have increased exponentially ever since I discovered this website. There's honestly almost too many to count now. I am so, so fandomed. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

FANDOMS:

Jane Austen (I'm a sucker for good clean period romance. Plus, Colin Firth and the late, exceptionally great, Alan Rickman. Need I say more? 1995-er's, you know what I mean.)

Jane Eyre (For me, Mia and Michael are my Jane and Rochester, and you can’t tell me any different.)

The Scarlet Pimpernel (Ohhhh, they need to remake this, it's about time, but Jane Seymour and Anthony Andrews are classic. Tom Hiddleston would be perfect as Percy.)

Harry Potter and its ‘verse—yes, including Cursed Child (I love so many characters, but top five? Professor Snape, Luna, Draco, Professor Lupin, and Newt.) [Regarding Draco? What can I say? I love that little ferrety prat. Sue me.]

Doctor Who (Not ashamed to say 8 was my first Doctor, I love 8, but 11 is my Doctor. Some days though, it's 10. 12 comes close.)

Lord of the Rings (I am a book fan and movie fan, and you can't convince me to hate Filmamir. Total Eowyn and Faramir fan.)

Star Trek: 2009 (Numb Tongue. And Captain Pike. And McCoy. And Spock. And Uhura. And Scotty. And... you get the point.)

Star Trek: TNG (Captain freaking Picard.)

Star Trek: DS9 (Oh, Julian, you poor boy. Quark, you incorrigible entrepreneur. And Kira and Odo, it’s so tragic! Sobbing)

Star Trek: Voyager (Chakotay and Janeway belong together.)

Star Wars (I actually used to not like this so much when I was younger, because a certain family member always watched the movies - prequel and original, whenever they were on tv. But, fanfic of Obi-Wan and Anakin on missions, amongst others, got me falling in love with this fandom. Now, that family member and I talk Star Wars when we can, to the consternation of everyone else around who have no idea what we're talking about. Also, I have thrown my lot in with Reylo. Again, SUE ME. Adam Driver’s an adorable cinnamon roll. JJ Abrams, you better not let me down.)

Everything Marvel (Please forgive Cap, Tony. Bucky's his friend too. And can I just say, Scarlet Witch and Vision are adorable together.)

Firefly (Seriously, FOX?)

Almost Human (Again, SERIOUSLY, FOX?)

Forever (Seriously, ABC?)

Limitless the Series (Seriously, CBS?)

NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans (I am so here for Ellick. The only ship left floating.) [Also, what the Ice Balls, Ziva’s ALIVE?]

Hawaii Five-O (Just... Danny and Steve, man. They're hilarious.)

Psych (Heeere's Lassie! Lassie's great. :) )

White Collar (Yeah.)

Covert Affairs (It kind of jumped the shark in its later seasons, but that's what fanfic is for.)

Law and Order: SVU (JUST KISS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I'm talking to you, Barson and Rollisi!) [No! Why, Barba, why!!]

Blue Bloods (Just tell her you love her, Jamison Reagan!) [Yes! Thank you!]

McGyver: 2016 (Wasn't expecting to like it, in fact, I initially hated it, but eventually, it got to me.)

The Blacklist (Love the reveal at the end of last season. I literally cried out, "YES!!") [What the kriff? He’s not her Dad?]

The X-Files (This show used to scare the Ice Balls out of me, but now, I like it. Especially the current and last season, amongst other assorted old eps.)

Lethal Weapon the Series (I just... it's hilarious, go watch it.)

9-1-1 (An unexpected hit with me.)

In Plain Sight (Ahh. Drag. Literal drag. ;) )

Lucifer (Weird, I know, for a God-fearing person, but it won me over.) [Thank you, Netflix!]

Grimm (I knew Adalind and Nick had something.)

When Calls the Heart (Where mah Hearties at! Yes, I watch Hallmark, thank you.) [No... why Jack?]

John Wick (Don’t ask. I got sucked into this via the aforementioned family member. I can almost repeat the script of the first movie in sync with it because of the sheer amount of times I’ve watched it with them.)

The Martian (Movie and book) (I laughed so hard, I just kept rewinding and re-reading. Disco. :) Also, “I thought you liked Mexican!” should’ve been in the script. On an aside, Beck/Johanssen. That was so cute.)

Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy (The ending was perfect.)

Mission: Impossible (“Should I not have jumped? ‘Cause I jumped!” “It’s a high-speed chase, and you had to get the 4x4!” Jeremy Renner has the best lines.)

Inception (Arthur/Ariadne. Yup. And Eames. Fun. I love this movie.)

Beauty and the Beast (Evermore, come on.)

Downton Abbey (WHY MATTHEW, WHY??!!)

Sherlock (This season was intense.)

How To Train Your Dragon (Toothless.)

The Hunger Games (Yes, it’s true. Yay for Katniss Mellark!)

Pirates of the Caribbean (I ain’t saying anything until someone gets the pairing of my fic right.)

Logan Lucky (Cauliflower. Just, just watch it.)

Game of Thrones (No, I didn’t think the ending was utterly gag inducing, don’t come at me. Although, I do wish Jaime hadn’t died.)
