![]() Photo belongs to Carina Grimm on DeviantART Hello, my name is Eulogy for Truces, and I'm a Puerto Rican hobbyist writer that loves to write... well, anything. Writing is a passion of mine; putting words into paper and seeing the response from others is completely awe-inspiring. It's like you paint images, scenes, into a person's mind, using your own imagination to portray your story to another individual. I speak a couple of languages: Spanish English Italian [I'm still learning it, though]Why do I enjoy writing? Well, that's a question with a long answer. When I was younger, my attention was completely driven into logical things -- for example, math and science. But now that I am older and starting to understand myself better, I can see that my real passion is culture, history; to see what the world has to offer. That's one of the reasons I want to study in Switzerland. However, to get back to the main point, when you write, you have to learn. That's precisely why I like to write -- not only am I communicating my ideas through words, but I am learning more and more about Earth and its people. In other news, I also have an account on FictionPress.com. I write fan fiction mainly about Mass Effect, but I am thinking of incorporating other fandoms into my writing schedule, as well as some original fiction. My favourite videogames are: Mass Effect Trilogy Assassins Creed series Dragon Age seriesStories I'm currently working on/completed: Treachery of a Noble Heart -- So far, I'm personally proud of what I've done. Comparing this to the first story I ever wrote in my life, I've seen how far I've come not only as a writer, but as a person. Of course, as of today (02/13/14) it is still on its first few chapters, but I like a lot the outline I've built for it. TOaNB focuses on Jim Clarke, a criminal that wants his life in the Alliance back. To be honest, I'm not aiming much for an external conflict in this story. I'm aiming more towards an internal conflict within Jim and his life while he faces old friends, enemies, and flames he acquired prior and during his life in the Alliance Intelligence Agency. The Journey [in progress, not yet published]--The Journey... well, it's honestly the first idea I had with the Jim Clarke Series. It's set years before TOaNB, and it's got a completely different outlook on the character, the Agency, and life itself in the galaxy. References of The Journey are made in ToaNB, but the details will be completely here. I'm not thinking of making it very long, because as of now (2/18/14) my main project is ToaNB, but this is definitely an awesome side-story I want to work on. |
