I am Mayumi-san, and I am a GB-holic.

Yes, I'm obsessed with the Get Backers. I've been smitten with the characters, the action, the plots, and just about everything in this series. So you can just imagine my frustration that the makers of the anime don't seem to be in a hurry in making the next season.

I really wished to see more stories of my favorite retrieval team, so I settled with reading fanfics instead. I was glad to see a lot of really good ones out there. Some of the authors are so good, they made me feel like I'm actually watching the series. There was a time when I've read just about every fanfic there is to read about GB (yeah, I had nothing else to do at that time), and I was bored, so I let my imagination run amok. I started to to write my own fics.

That was back in 2004. A year later, major life events happened and I stopped writing, resulting in unfinished fanfics. To make a long story short, I was re-bitten by the GB bug early this year (2011), and like a spring bursting forth, the desire to write has returned. Below are some of my fanfics:

The Silver Claw - Complete. My first ever fanfic. The idea came after I saw the cover of the Tsuya artbook with Mido Ban and a girl from another series (which I later found out was Kobayakawa Miyuki from You're Under Arrest). I thought I'd make a story about Ban and a girl that looked like that.

The Gemstone Waltz - Complete. This is the sequel to The Silver Claw. This was actually the story that I thought of when I first saw that Tsuya cover. The SC was the backstory.

Tis The Season To Be Jolly - Complete. This is a Christmas fic. This could've been the beginning of another adventure fic, but since I don't have time to work on it before Christmas comes, I'll leave it at that. Just use your imagination on what happens next ;)

Of Dreams and Magic - On-going. My crackfic attempt. I'm currently working on this.

Fashion Advice - Complete. My musings on what could've happened before Episode 38 of the manga.

I am currently watching Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood right now, so I might try my hand at that series as well. Oh wait, I already have :P

The Hour Before Sunrise - Complete. A one-shot on Ling Yao and Lan Fan. My first FMA fic ever.

I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, but it's just a matter of writing them down when I have the time. I hope they don't go away...
