Author has written 2 stories for Stargate: Atlantis. Back in 2004 (keeping this up for posterity): Hmmm...let's see, where to begin... It's all Stargate's fault. If I hadn't fallen in love with the show I wouldn't be where I am now. And where am I exactly? I'm studying to be a physics major at the Colorado School of Mines; busting my butt trying to find the time for school, work, and a healthy dose of daily sci-fi. Yup that's me. The huge Stargate fan who allowed her career choice to be driven by a fictional character, that would be Sam Carter by the way. And more recently I've fallen in love with Stargate Atlantis, and two goofs by the names of John Sheppard and Rodney McKay. I've never written any fanfiction before now, but goodness only knows how much I've read. I'm a new writer, but I figured since I spend so much time daydreaming little adventures for these guys, I may as well try getting the aformentioned adventures out of my system and onto the internet. So, in conclusion, thanks to Stargate I have no spare time. lol...but I love it anyway! RockyMtnGal UPDATE: April 29, 2015 It has come to my attention that it has been almost 10 years since I first started "When in Rome," which I have obviously never finished. I never intended that to be the case...but life had different ideas. Sadly, despite my distaste for deadfic, I will never finish this story. I have long since lost all the files for this story, not to mention I haven't written anything in years. I recently re-engaged as an avid reader and consumer of fanfiction, but not so much a writer. I should have updated this profile a long time ago to say as much. My apologies to my readers. If someone were ever interested in adopting this near decade old fanfic (gosh I feel old) I'd be happy to let it go to a better home! |
