After the gum war, everything has calmed down, and new adventures are rare to come by. So when Finn and Huntress Wizard go to investigate a strange energy reading left behind by GOLB, they find a whole new load of adventures greeting them.

Being in the spotlight so long, this sword and shield overshadowed something the Arc's had tried to hide. A different weapon...one that no one had ever seen before...one that a certain Jaune Arc stumbled upon.

After getting launched into the forest by the scorpion, Jaune decides he can't let himself be weak anymore. He grows stronger through extensive training, aura manipulation, and a bit of courage. It probably won't flow the cannon RWBY river but hey that's why it is a fanfic. Okay so I know this summary sucks, but I would appreciate a review.

It all started with a special day in Combat Class, sparring partners were randomized. Jaune was paired with Yang. Jaune was able to keep himself from getting obliterated, and that blue glow of his aura kept him going for a lot longer than he thought possible. One thing doesn't add up, his aura is white, so why is it blue when healing him? The truth is more than anyone expected.
