ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Jade and I'm sixteen. I'm a writer, and I beta on request. I tend to concentrate on things like grammar, spelling and punctuation rather than plot and character, but I dunno, I think I'm pretty versatile. I have a bunch of parodies on another account, but I'm not telling you what my alternate pen-name is.

MY STORIES & BETA DETAILS

I have three separate accounts. The first one used to have about eight stories on it, but I deleted them a while back. This is because most of them were written when I was like, ten, and to put it bluntly they were a load of crap. I thought that they were good at the time, but reading back over them now is so embarrassing. Like, seriously. I can't believe that I actually put those things up on the internet, for other people to read. So they're gone now. I can't get back onto that account because I forgot my username and password, so that's why I created this one. My third account is for my parodies and crack!fics. No, you can't read them. Why? Because I say so.

While I don't write for a lot of fandoms and pairings myself (and I'm very particular about the ones that I do write), I'll read just about anything. And by 'read' I mean 'beta'. On the subject of pairings, there are so many horribly unrealistic and out-of-character stories which just make me cringe, and if your characters are not acting like they should, then I will tell you. I will be very blunt about it. I'm sorry, but I can't stand it when people make Hermione and Draco act like Romeo and Juliet (quick example there) for all purposes of getting them together. It's like no, if you're not going to keep them in-character then write an original story.
