 Author has written 1 story for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hello all, and welcome to The Artemis Foundation. The Artemis Foundation was designed to help the Percy Jackson and the Olympians FanFiction archive. It is rapidly dying, rotting, due to the amount of fangirls and trolls, roaming, unstopped, through it. They are destroying it, with fangirl, OOC fics, and Mary-Sues. And while thay are have an unstopped, untroubled joy-ride through, us authors are stuck in a major traffic jam. We can't move forward, because of the fangirls clogging up the front, we can't go back, because of the fangirls pushing to get through. So there we are. Stuck in the middle, unable to move. We flame, we discourage, we offer helpful advice, we try being nice, but it never works. The Artemis Foundation aims to create a path through the mess, to the front, where we can get good advice, and continue on out journey to become authors. That seems a little fanciful, though. It may happen, it may not. I depends on the reception we get. If you are a troll, and have no intention of stopping and making good fics, please leave. We will, eventually, have more, but until I finish 'The Troll War', discouraging trolls is our primary objective. Unfortunately, due to school, 'The Troll War' is on haitus. Yes, trolling can be fun, but it's when they don't stop that it is anger-inducing. Future aims include: Fangirls Mary-Sues Those are both rather large tasks, so each will take a while to complete. I hope to create a story on both, multi-chapter, similar to 'The Troll War'. I will also publish a one-shot about 'The Artemis Awards'. The Artemis Awards: (Copy-and-Pasted from the website) There are a variety of different awards offered by The Artemis Foundation. How the Awards work: The members of FanFiction will PM Nessi (Randomness Is Cool) with their nominations. You must have a nomination for at least two Awards. The founders of The Artemis Foundation will then look at all the nominations and decide on four finalists from each category. The nominees and finalists will then be informed that their story/they was nominated. We do not tell them beforehand because we don't want them to stress and try to be better. We will then decide on a winner. The winner of each genre will be given awards, such as bragging rights. The awards will change each time. The Artemis Awards are only held every six months, so our next judging will be in December (beggining December 1st). So you'd better start nominating! You have until November 30 to get nominations in. You may not nominate yourself. You do not have to be a member to nominate someone, or be nominated for the awards.
