When Jo Rowling asked me to ghostwrite a prologue for Half Blood Prince, I was thrilled and honoured. Of course, when she saw it it was rejected outright and she stopped taking my calls. I think it reads pretty well and have been trying to contact her agent about writing books eight and nine for her. If I have any success with that, I will post sample chapters here, where they will be unlikely to garner too much attention.

I've ghostwritten novels for Stephen King, John Grisham, and Michael Crichton, among others. I was also one of ten ghostwriters hired to write J.K. Rowling's last books, though I was sacked after turning in Patronus. I like to think that I am always learning more about writing and I love getting comments and critiques.

When I'm not writing, I like to go on walks with my labrador and drink heavily.
