Okay.

Even at times I've taken a while to come out with a chapter, I always have ideas and a rough plan for my stories. I just might not necessarily feel like I can write them well enough yet at the time. When I think about it, I really love what I've been able to do with H&H so far. Reviewers who have kept up with it seem to enjoy it as well, and that has made me glad and probably sustained me (to some extent) at times when I was despairing.

Anyway, after H&H I'm not sure what I'll do with this account. I will put a notice about where LiDB2 will be published in upcoming H&H chapter(s).

Unfinished Works I Currently Intend To Finish:
• Scraps (working title) - DGM ficlets occasionally posted on tumblr, status: deciding whether to post on FFn
• LIDB2 (working title) - sequel to LiDB, status: past conceptual stage; likely to start soon as I can
• Heaven & Hell - sequel to Guilt & Innocence, status: posting chapters as I finish 'em
• Brothers (working title) - No.6/DGM AU crossover, status: About 5 chapters done. On hold since I started Guilt & Innocence... (damn, that was a long time ago, but I still want to finish it...)

I think what drew me to BL and slash is that I only find myself able to appreciate love stories based on pairs of people who love and respect each other as equals.

I thought I hated the entire romance genre as a whole for a long time before I came to realize (1) automatic attraction and (2) inequality issues were what I was really finding objectionable about it.

Also, if it's going to be featured as a major part of the story, the romance better damn well have something special about it, right? Well, I think so, anyway.

I've been into fanfiction for only a relatively short time (since 2011 I guess? Maybe 2010, lol) but I've been writing (and studying writing) for much longer. I strive to write the kind of content I want to read...

things you will tend to find in my fiction:
• subtle (possibly too subtle) cues for character mood/state of mind
• relationships between equals (extremely important to me!)
• sex (or interest in sex) portrayed as healthy and natural
• variety in, novelty to, &/or surprises during moments of intimacy

things you won't likely find:
• hating on any character
• interruptions to the narrative (like A/Ns, or "so-and-so's POV" announced mid-chapter)
• 1st/2nd person narratives (unless for *deeper* exploration of mental/emotional states.)
• BL stereotypes like seme/uke roles; especially wimpy/girly/little boy-ish "uke" types
• repetitive/unoriginal sex scenes, "battle for dominance" kisses, etc.
• non-con of any kind, for any reason!
• narratives of physical attraction/intimacy/sex as something dirty/vulgar/obscene
• narratives of anyone as "slutty" or otherwise less respectable just for enjoying sex
• awkward, overused descriptive terms like "orbs," "the albino," or "the raven."
• language mangling like "whitette" (-ette = feminine suffix for FRENCH words!)
