An orphaned boy was exiled from Lancastar to the restored Earth after a violent raid by the DES. Years later, he was inspired by an American boy band on TV and enters a contest set up by their label, and becomes a member of a boy band, NovaStar. His stepfather, an anti-DES soldier, uncovers clues surrounding the death of Chieri's father as well as the current motives of the DES.
