![]() Hello there random citizen. you can call me Angel (it's not my name, but pretty close). I have been present on Earth for fifteen years, and life still isn't clear for me. I like to read, and my favourite books are Harry Potter, Gallagher Girls, The Hunger Games and A Song of Ice and Fire (I'm still on the first one but damn it's an amazing book!) As you can see, my profile picture is Snape and Lily kissing. It's a pretty picture, isn't it? I don't know who made it but whoever did is pretty awesome. I like to write, although I'm not very good at it. If you were at my house, you'd see me walking around upstairs with music playing from my phone, just daydreaming. I like to daydream. It gives my brain a rest. I like tea a lot. I also like coffee (but not plain black coffee 'cause it's yuck) and hot chocolate. My favourite food is pizza, 'cause y'know, it's yummy. I overthink things, which put me in a bad mood, which isn't good because then I'm not happy. I'm blunt when needed. I prefer the company of books to the company of humans. Books don't judge you, leave you, make fun of you or hurt you. You can always put it down and come back to it afterwards and it will greet you with open arms. Unlike people, whom are sometimes incomprehensible. Friends are great because you have a second family and a support network, but in your times of vulnerability when it seems as though no-one, not a person or a deity, can understand what you're feeling, there are ink-filled pages that can offer a new home for a few hours. Although be careful, because you might fall hard for a fictional character. I find it amusing that people rant on about how people shouldn't judge others and that stereotyping is bad, when they're the ones that judge others and label them the stereotype that is the opposite of theirs'. I find this amusing because it is so hypocritical. Just because a person wears Nike Airs doesn't make them a 'chav'. Just because a person wears converse, doesn't make them an 'emo'. And just because you have a gothic sense of style, doesn't make you anymore unique than the next person. This just shows that how much you try to not judge and label, you always will. So think before you talk. |
