![]() Author has written 9 stories for Doctor Who, Mary Poppins, Once Upon a Time, and Harry Potter. Hi guys! I've been a massive fan of Doctor Who since I was about eight, but I kind of missed out on all the classic Who, so if I get anything wrong, please update me via review as I haven't worked out how to PM someone yet. I'm really grateful for all of the lovely reviews (nasty ones will be resolutely ignored) and it's great to think that some people out there actually like my wacky ideas. Hoping to get more story's up soon, Catkin Thief PS. Does this seem like a letter to anyone else? I won't be offended if you think I'm a bit weird, most people do. Current stories The Master's Daughter (in progress) Because of a Rose. (in progress) Hope is stronger than fear. (in progress) Old friends, new prison cells. (in progress) Does your mother know? (in progress) Bert's angels (in progress) Rose Tyler, in the TARDIS, as it should be. (in progress)Hands up people who are book lovers. Okay, that's probably everyone who reads this, but never mind. Here's how you know that you're hopelessly addicted to books... You read everything, even this. When you see something you can't read, like if it's in another language, it irritates you and you want to learn that language just so you can know what it said. You find yourself reading books that no one else has heard of. When you see a book shop, you have to go in. There's no such thing as too many books. You have piles of books all round the house. You'd rather go book shopping than clothes shopping. You know some books so well that you know what the characters are about to say before they actually say it. You re-read books that you know off by heart simply because you love them. You randomly quote lines from books. When someone else randomly quotes a line from a book, you know what book it's from and who said it. You find it more exciting that your favourite author has released a new book than the fact that some pop singer's released a new album. If you were stuck on a desert island without something to read you'd go as mad as a hatter. You prefer books to kindles or any other kind of e-reader. The idea of burning a book horrifies you beyond anything else. You can't pick a favourite book because it changes every time you read a new book. You can get so lost in a fantasy world that people have to put a hand in front of your face before you realise they're there. You take a book out of the school library at break and return it at lunch. You spend most of your time in your room reading. You always think that the book is better than the movie. Every time you go into town you always end up buying at least one book. When people say they don't like books you look at them like they've said they don't like breathing This has all happened to me and I couldn't live with out books if I tried (not that I would try). A book lover and proud of it! Please enjoy all of my stories. Reviews are not compulsory, but they would be appreciated :) |
