Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hello everyone! Well...I guess need to tell you a little bit about me, so here it goes! I should start with the most important thing, which is my undying, never-ending love for the Harry Potter books. To me, there is just something so amazingly magical about them, that I am unable to find an appropriate word to even convey how I feel about them. (But I'm sure you all understand, so I will not even try) I really don't have a favorite Harry Potter book. My preference varries each time I read the series. The first time I read them, PoA was my favorite, the second time GoF, and the third time CoS. I am preparing to read them again in the next month or so, so, we'll see which one I like then:D I have ALWAYS been a major Ron/Hermione shipper. I could care less who gets with who in the books, as long as Ron and Hermione end up together. AND, this is kind of a doulble standard on my part: I also fancy the idea of Harry and Ginny coming together in the end, but my guilty pleasure is reading Draco/Ginny stories on fan fiction (Don't ask me why...I wouldn't be able to explain it :D) Okay, now that I have the important stuff out of the way :D, I'll tell you more about me personally. I am twenty years old and I just finished my fourth semester of college. I am WAY excited because I just recieved an "A" in my most demading class yet...Children's Lit. You wouldn't think that it would be hard and it wasn't...just demanding and stressfull. My major is Elem. Education, with a Social Studies emphasis. My dream is to teach fifth grade in the town that I grew up in. However, I still have about five or six semesters left, so that will be awhile. One of my favorite past times is reading. I LOVE the Harry Potter books (obviously). Some of my other favorites are the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, a FEW Ann Rice books (some of her stuff is just too twisted for me- I prefer to stick with just her Vampire Chronicles), The Bonestetter's Daughter and The Joy Luck CLub by Amy Tan and The Giver by Louis Lowry, which is a children's book and took me all but a day to read, but it was AMAZING! Some of my favorite movies include: The Lord of the Rings (yes I know, there are actually three movies, but the book was originally compiled into one volume. Tolkien's publishers only insisted that there be three books, considering the price of paper was high, and people were not likely to buy such a large book. SO, basically, I consider them all one big movie, cause really, they are), ALL Harry Potter movies (no, I don't have a favorite- there are amazing things about all three), Titanic (I'm such a girl :D), The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, The Goonies, and how could I forget, Meet the Fockers? |
