![]() Author has written 4 stories for Alvin and the chipmunks. Hello there! I'm not new to Fanfiction, formerly DarkEvgaline. I am hoping to expand the franchises I write for, ableit slowly for my other fandom(s). Has been close to four years since I've been on. I am your go-to rennniassance woman (I can do art, domestics, literature, and "nerd"). My favorite genre is classic rock, so that will show up in a lot of stories as well as 80s-2k pop (my mom was an '80s teen and I have a near-perfect memory of radio music form my younger years). I have loved Alvin and the Chipminks, Food Network, adult educational programming (think the discovery channel), early Hanna-Barbera cartoons, '90s/2k pop and cats (the animal, not the musical) from a young age. Later on, I fell in love with Rick Riodran's work on Greek mythology, 19th century literature (it was love at first sight for Russian), non-girly fantasy (think Dune, John Carter of Mars) and harder rock. You may want to know why I seem to have a budding obsession with Russian literature. My maternal grandmother took my siblings and I to an independent Russian Orthodox church up until she passed of natural causes. After moving to Massachusetts, I did not understand why assimilated whites hated them. There are so many cultural similarities between the Greeks and Russians that it piqued my interest enough for research in terms of misconceptions as a tween. When I first read an abridged version of Crime and Punishment my sophmore year of high school, I found myself understanding the religious and cultural background more than I did when reading French or English literature from the same time period. My experience seemed more homely when reading, including familiar terms. I could more vividly imagine the tiny but prominent religious and cultural details, instead of thinking something like how do Catholics cross themselves? So, the similarites and my inner "nerd" made me discover literature that provides me with pleasure rivalling that of Rick Riodran's works. It's the little things like this name rolls of of my tongue smoothly, or the characters pray just like my family, especially since I suffered a culture shock during my move. I am interested in not just Russian literature but from the entire cultural region, including my family's Balkan neighbors. I also hate snow. I lived near the snow capital of Massachusetts for seven and a half years, and I was not happy. It also lasted almost six months, which is why I hate it so much. I garden, so I was literally waiting for spring from the time of our first frost in early October. I've predicted April Fool's snow for four or five years in a row correctly. In 2018, we had a white Orthodox Easter (which is typically later, but for some reason fell before the third week in April that year). I've seen many white Thanksgivings, several white Halloweens, many white Western Easters. The last one occured so often that I suggested using undyed eggs for the Americans' egg hunt. My ratings of the Chipmunk movies: First CG film: Heartwarming, saw it in theatres Dececember 2007. Character dynamics are as good as they get for a feature-length film. Love the soundtrack, real rhythm and blues, motown. Establishes relations with Dave. The Squeakquel: Establishes characters' relations with minor characters, really only like it because of the Chipettes and 80s soundtrack. The boys stayed in character, nice.Saw it in theatres when it came out, lacks dynamics and development with the Chipettes. The Chipmunk Adventure: Saw it sometime on home video in 2004/5, way too young to watch it. The whole cannibalism in Fuji concept (I thought it was south America) was traumatizing, due to my age. Music is great. Can't pinpoint most locations because I'm not good with stereotypes. The only locations I remember correctly are Athens and Mexico City. I thought that Cairo was New Delhi, etc. I will try to watch it again. Chipwrecked: A disaster! As a Simon fan, I really hated Simone. Even as an twelve year old watching it the first time, I wondered how he didnt die from the neurotoxin, or get a concussion. The compensation by the other characters makes the dynamics and development shitty. The soundtrack was tolerable, had some flashback songs, but too much pop shit. The video game music is so much better than the soundtrack, for all three films. The bonus song, "The Club Can't Handle Me" wasn't very kid friendly, and wasn't even censored like other songs on the track. I was probably the only 12 year old not to giggle at sexual innuendos or drug references. Too much sex in current pop shit, an original song would've been better. The Road Chip: Watched it for the first time August 2018, nearly two years after I got the disc as a presesnt. Soundtrack is pure shit, didn't buy it. Uptown Funk was censored, good thing, but the only reason I didn't scream was because it had been two months since I heard pop shit. It's the most annoying song ever! The character dynamics and development were crap. Only Alvin and Dave acted like their usual selves. Literally the second film where Theodore acts completely out of character. The voice acting for him was horrible compared to the previous three films, to the point where it was barely recognizable. I'd vote to have the voice acting dubed over by Janice. There was a drug innuendo with cough syrup, only know it's addictive PE from working at a pharmacy retail. I dunno, but it seems that both Simon and Theodore were on a psychostimulant for the entire film, or that Simon just came ot of a coma. They had no sense of time and space, seemed very disoriented, Alvin must have laced their food or drink with Ritalin. The Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman: Horrid. The decision to have Theodore be bitten, really ruined the whole thing. Alvin or Brittany would have been much better, and it could have led to great development. I can't stand the Jekyll and Hyde play! I've read the novella twice, would have made sense to have a human play Jekyll due to the contrast. In addition, threre were more characters. Poole, Jekyll's butler; the house staff of Jekyll's estate; the lawyer friend; another doctor friend. The whole purpose was obscured, even the process of the potion is wrong. It's not tubes of liquid. I'll post the corrections when I have the book on me. All of the male characters are bachelors, so there is no wife. There are minor female characters, like a young woman who got attacked by Hyde, or Hyde's maid. I can easily write parodies for songs, with perfect melody and tune, so don't be suprised to see some in my stories (I think of them at the most random times, like "Cumin" for Perry's "Human" while cooking with said spice). Some common parody staples I have thought of in the moment are modern pop songs because my old roomates used to listen to that stuff in the car. "Little pig" for the English nursery song "Brother John" (as a kid I thought it was about my mother waking up one of my first uncles) (I also have annoying guinea pigs) "Where are my veggies?" to the Veggietales silly song "Where is my hairbrush" (used to live with people who listen to nursery rhymes all day, even while attending school six hours a day they are pretty easy to memorize) (Also from annoying guinea pigs) "Magical Mystery Meat" for the Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour" (created when I found a strange piece of meat in my freezer) "Let it Melt" for Frozen's "Let it go" (a former roomate listened to that soundtrack every night for an hour minus the score, for over a year, and next thing you know, it was the same thing with Swift's 1989 album) ("Wildest Dreams" sounded like drugged rape to me, most of her non-radio songs on that album were about sex) (she also taunted me with her Olaf doll until I moved, well knowing that I hate that chracter due to his falsely saccharine quality, then add snowman to create my archenemy) Plenty of ideas so, here are future titles Completed/semi-completed Faded Pictures (nostalgia in the '80s cartoon universe) (one chapter written) Dihydrogen Monoxide (CG film one-shot) (written in entirety) The Crucible tongs (CG film one-shot written based on studying Miller's The Crucible while taking chemistry in high school) (Written in entirety) To be graceful (CG film Theanor moment taking place during the Squeakquel) (written, but needs editing) Snowman assassins (inspired by my hate for New England snow, may be a Frosty the Snowman crossover) (about 4-6 chapters written when I was 13, likely needs editing) Ideas/Started stories Short story about Brittany's disdain for Jeanette's garden work (no title yet) Shoo, Kitty, Kitty! (CG film short about everyone being terrified by a cat) (probably a one-shot, slightly different idea) Squeakquel Simonette one-shot (likley invloving the library or extra-curricular) (no title yet) Chipettes' realtions with Dave (no title yet) (short story) long-term effects from Chipwrecked spider bite from Simon's perspective (likely going to be a full story, hypothetical title "After the Danger") Fluffy one-shot of the Chipmunks and Chipettes playing outside (hypothetically "Go climb a Tree", could happen in most universes) Theodore's breaking point with Alvin (short story likely in CG cartoon universe) Theodore being asked by Simon regarding Alvin abuse (could take place in either CG cartoon or '80s cartoon universes) Dating troubles (short story on Alvin's infidelity, could take place in either cartoon universe) (could be short or full story) Brittany the Beast (sister relations after breakup, could take place in either cartoon universe) (short story) The Chipmunks and the Hamster (short about pet ownership and realization of pheremone communication, could take place in any universe, might be best suited to CG film or cartoon) (short story) Sanity calling (full about Alvin going away to college for Theodore's safety, various perspecitves) The Glue (explains why Alvin and Simon even put up with each other) (short story) 'Tis the season (the chipmunks and chipettes have to temporaily be seperated during the mating season due to pheremones and a lack of tiny condoms, mistakes lead to young, could hypothetically take place in any universe, (CG cartoon universe with or without aging up one human year, since Alvin states in one episode that he is biologically equivalent to a human male over thirteen, which makes sense with their peers, and considering the fact that he may or may not be sexually preciouious compared with his brothers) O Forced eviction (short about why the chipmunks dislike the Christmas tree tradition) The Annoying Alvin Show (CG cartoon universe, basically a regularly updated story where Alvin annoys everyone and or insults them, and any revenge.) Shelved Stories Toby harassed into getting a job (no title) Fluffy one-shot of Eleanor's cooking difficulties with human-sized appliances (CG movie universe) Rules for writing AATC fanfics: 1)They are brothers, nothing else. I think this meant no lemons, not their friendships and adopted family relations, not like Alvon is gonna work out anyway, knowing those two. I wouldn't be suprised if Alvin forced Theodore to have sex in exchange for food or other favors, since manipulation already happens for pretty dangerous stuff, like sneaking out of the house at night 2) They must always live with Dave. They probably would not live with Dave past their mid-20s (except for Alvin...heehheehhee) 3) They must always end up with the Chipettes. Alvin can hit on other girls, but he must end up with Brittany. Alvin would totally cheat on Brittany, just sayin' 4) They cannot die. You just repeated the question. 5) They can have superpowers, but the color of the magic/ mystical zone has to he the same color as they're signature colors. Well, I won't give it to them unless they are engaged in pretend play! 6) They can't die. Well, I might in a retrospective story where they are older. Probably childbirth or being run over by a car (you can guess who I'm gonna kill first based on my story ideas!) 7) They can't be seriously injured. Well, Alvin gives Theodore emotional pain, to the point where the latter should be checked for PTSD, but OK. *sarcasn* 8) There cannot be any OCs. Only the Chipmunks, Dave, and the characters created my the Bagdasarians. I created one OC when I was like 13. But I'm not a fan of heavy OC use 9) The Chipettes must live with Miss Miller. Depends on the universe, but even in the '80s cartoon, she would be in a retirement home once the girls reached high school. If she does not go broke from gambling and accidentally killls herself in hysteria first. 10) If you kill them, thus violating numbers 4 and 6, you must bring them back. Also making it a horror story. I'd only do flashbacks anyway. 11) They can't be in horror stories. I might do one with minimal character death involving the seven deadly sins (we all know Alvin would be involved in lust and adultery!) 12) You must have at least three jokes/gags in a chapter. It depends on the story...Not gonna happen in all of them! I like writing deep stories that play on physch and interpersonal relations (which is why I was able to read the entirety of Les Miserables...the Puffin Classic edition is 1460 pages, not including introduction and conclusion) (A.K.A the book was the dimensions of a brownstone brick) 13) If you do a Chipmunk crossover, it must be with some other cartoon. Not live action. Well, I am planning on doing a "Chipmunks presents" series (literally thought of it at 12) when they act out novels like plays (and yes, each novel chapter would be a fanfic chapter, which would be long). The Karmazov Brothers and The Count of Monte Cristo would be my all-time reccomendations (although I may want to cast Toby as Pavel Fydorovich Smerdyakov for the sake of smell, despite not wanting to kill Dave, and likely does not have epilipsy) (spoilers! not like many people would actually read that book. I can pronounce the names well, but I'm also a third-generation Greek immigrant) 14) If you have songs, they have to fit in the story. Not just be random I LOVE the random singing parts, since they would totally do that! 15) The Chipmunks do not work for free. If you use them you must send Ross Bagdasarian 100 dollars by the end of the month, or else you'll die instantly. They let us use Fanfiction for free, right? I'm pretty sure they do. 16) Don't talk about the rules, don't tell people about the rules, don't even think about the rules. I see them on almost every porfile page, so this "rule" is null and void 1.Age 20 years old 2. Height? 5'3" 3.Eyes? Really dark Brown. 4. Have any tattoos No 5. And piercings? No 6.favorite food? The Fanfiction community gives me a place to express my interests without being judged for it. I get to collabotate with so may people I wouldnn't have met in real life. The real world has cats, and my family so 16.What do you hate most about FanFiction and real life? I hate the 90-day document life. My variety of talents 19.What Is something you dislike about yourself? After Chipwrecked, or even before, I was bored with the materials the franchise distributes, and wanted something more, so someone reccommended that I come to this site 21)Have you ever written a mixed couple AATC story? I prefer the canon couples given the characters' personalities.
