Poll: Which of my stories should I focus on updating the most/which one should I try to finish first? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 13 stories for Code Lyoko, Detective Conan/Case Closed, Yu Yu Hakusho, Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Doctor Who, World Ends With You, and Young Wizards. Welcome to my not-so-humble abode! Call me Random, please. I should probably not be updating this profile seeing as I haven't posted anything literally in years. I do feel bad about that. I just kinda...don't have the patience. And I can't promise anything soon, either, since I now have a buttload of honors and AP and IB classes and all the homework that entails. I do promise my writing will be better and more mature next time I write something; I've learned a little more about the English language and the art of writing since then. If I do start writing again, I can almost guarantee they'll be fantasy pieces. I'd like to do that as soon as I have the time, actually. Most of the time I entertain myself by either reading or wandering through all the worlds I imagine. Lastly and most importantly, I love cats. I have three adorable cats named Ruby, Carmen, and Maya (Rubus, Caarmy, and Mymy for short), but I love all cats. READ THIS I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working on the streets because no one will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I'll probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply to much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not even allowed to visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor that has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father that never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the girl who lost her boyfriend as soon he found out I can love women as well as men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized that I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I feel like I could be a much better person if I did not always have to deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they have closed the doors to "my kind." I am the person who has to hide what the world needs most. Love. I am the person who is afraid to tell his loving Christian parents that he loves another male. I am the teen-aged Californian who is being denied the right to marry based the way I love. I'm not even in love yet. Copy and paste this into your profile if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it. Story Stats: (as of 12/12/09) Deceptive Appearances: Detective Conan/Magic Kaito. Still not even close to done. And already over 50,000 words too. On and off trying to edit it, but I have a lot of schoolwork, and am having such a hard time finding a beta. If anyone wants to volunteer... Extremely Unordinary, Unspecified Period of Time: It's a crossover between Detective Conan (which I write for a lot) and World Ends With You. You don't necessarily need to know World Ends With You to read, I think. Not really. I haven't ever played it. That's what my lovely co-author, Kitsu-chan is for! Speaking of Kitsu, she's kinda lost interest, as have I. It might get finished at some point, but I dunno. Both of these got stuck on routine murder cases. I REALLY need to stop writing them in DC. Quotes: When life gives you lemons, make apple juice. Then sit back and watch as everyone wonders how the heck you did that. -random profile I don't remember Before you insult someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you insult them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. -someone The thing about imminent death is that it really snaps things back into perspective. -Max, Maximum Ride Right, I'm a "superhero" with a "secret identity" and my name is "Captain Sarcastic". -Liz (pretending to be a superhero, surprisingly enough) Any sufficiently advanced level of technology is indistinguishable from magic. -Lewis C. Clarke Man is the only animal for which his own existence is a problem which he has to solve. -Erich Fromm Fairytales do not tell children that dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairytales tell children that dragons can be killed. -G.K. Chesterton I don't care if I die at midnight, I will not pass on your stupid chain letter! -Brian Some times I think that the surest sign that there's intelligent life on other planets is that none of it has tried to contact us. -Calvin, Calvin and Hobbes (aka Bill Watterson) My money’s not in my account. That makes me cry inside, in my special, angry place. -Parker, Leverage 3 billion women with ovaries on this planet, and I just had to get the one voted "most likely to become a delusional psychopath" as my mother! -Max, Maximum Ride Kid, did you know? A thief is a creative artist who takes his prey in style, but a detective is nothing more than a critic who follows in our footsteps. -Kaitou Kid, Detective Conan I have prepared this trap to honor the artistic criminal who has outsmarted the police force for so long. Oh, right, the most talented artists become famous after they're dead. I'll make you great by taking you to a cemetary called prison. -Conan(Kudo Shinichi), Detective Conan (in belated response to the above) Kurama: All the while we've been thinking you were a brilliant strategist. You're actually just a lucky fool. -Kurama, Yu Yu Hakusho How did you get back? Never mind that, how did you get out? And you left the gate open! Do you know what could've happened if some poor janitor went in that door without looking? It's sixty below this time of year on Mars-- -Nita, Young Wizards Hobbes: Do you have an idea for your book report yet? ICE CREAM TRUCK! -Silver, in the middle of class. Followed by the teacher saying that he wished looks could kill. It was hilarious. Oh no, they approved the mission. Once they knew the stakes and the whole fate of the universe stuff, both Hammond and the President realized we have no choice. He sends good luck, godspeed, and all that stuff he says when he thinks we're going to die. -Jack, Stargate SG-1 |
