Henry: "Do you really think there's just one perfect mate?" Leonardo: "As a matter of fact I do." H: "Well then how can you be certain to find them? And when you do find them are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? What if the person you're supposed to be with never appears, or she does but you're too distracted to notice?" L: "You learn to pay attention." H: "Let's say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or perchance you meet someone new and marry all over again, is that the lady you're supposed to be with or is it the first? And if so when the two of them are walking side by side are they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first, or is the second one supposed to be first? Is everything just chance, or are some things meant to be?" L: "You can't leave everything to fate, boy. She's got a lot to do, sometimes you must give her a hand." - Prince Henry and Leonardo DaVinci, "Ever After" Name: Rachel Marsh (or Rei) Titles: Badger the Gnome, Rachel Illustrates Most recent obsessions: Thor, Valkyrie (Brunhilde, that is, of the Marvel Universe), Disney's "Frozen," Once Upon a Time (specifically Rumbelle) Currently Usual Fandoms: Marvel Comics/CU (especially Thor and X-men), Wonder Woman, Batwoman, Disney (especially Tangled and Frozen at the moment), Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, and most things in the Joss Whedon universe Specialty: Lady/lady romance, fat-positivity and size acceptance Updates - 12/14/13 Wow has it been a loooooooong time since I updated here. Thanks to some recent lovely feedback, though, I'll try to be a bit more active. Most of my writing since I updated in 2009, though, has been dedicated to a personal project - a graphic novel (in progress) called "Tock the Gnome." I describe it as a "steampunk, size-positive lesbian fairy tale." It includes Gnome/Orc romance, a quest to save a mythical princess led by an overzealous lady mechanic from a Gnomish Victorian society, culture clashes, airship travel, earth-based spirituality and magic, and retellings of some more popular fairy tales from our world.
