![]() Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Avengers. HI. I am a 17-year-old student who is currently living in Singapore studying her ass off and regularly offering her life to the God of Education to get some healthy prospects in life. He demands a little interest in the form of my blood as well. I like cats, even though I don't have them, and I dislike chocolates (Yeah. Come at me you suckers). I am, unfortunately, not a native English speaker, which means my language here probably sucks and my English writing sucks more at school. But I enjoy creating trashy stories with a lot of angst and tears, because I am an emo nerd who spends herself studying and worrying about the future. But seriously, I like characterisation so much to the point that I create characters more complicated than myself (because, why not?). I contemplated on becoming a professional writer once in the prehistoric ages, but has come to realise that life is often unfair and I might end up as a biologist or teacher soon enough. But since entering Fanfiction, I can never stop myself from coming up with fanfics and ideas of my own. And voila, 1 completed story of 200k words, 1 more to go, and another in development. (I hate myself). Fandomwise, I am a jack of all trades. Several of my favourite works of fiction include: - Lord of the Rings - Avengers - Boku no Hero Academia - Sherlock - Naruto - AtLA - Star Wars - Shingeki no Kyojin So yeah. Expect new stories to pop up from these fandoms soon. Especially the third one.
Completed story: 1. Shadow Hunter Credits to whoever photoed the cover image :3 Rating: T for violence, angst, and numerous deaths (Like Really) Summary: Varilerin is an exile, forcing herself to the dangerous world of Middle Earth to seek redemption as Daefaroth; the Shadow hunter. As she dealt the guilt that had always loomed over her, she must face the threat Sauron posed for her people, discover the truth about her heritage, and fight for the freedom of Middle Earth. Insight: Shadow Hunter comes after I have read several LOTR fics containing heroines. Most of them are heroines with qualities often found in mainstream heroines: kindness, cheerfulness, friendliness. The idea of this story roots from this, and I thought it is a good idea to make a heroine that is the opposite of them all: an anti-heroine with a mysterious dark past, introverted and dark personality, and yet still with qualities to do good in the world. Varilerin is born, whose name is the direct translation for 'The Queen of Protection' (check Varile and Rin). I started this story as a mere medium to improve my writing and character development skills, but now this story turns out to be a very serious one I have dedicated a lot of time in. Currently Shadow Hunter has 50000 views, an amazing freaking hellish achievement! Current Story: 1. Where I Belong Credits to whoever photoed the cover image Rating: T for violence, some angst, and some graphic depiction of blood, some cursing (Basically everything that makes it T) Summary: Ase was a being born from two worlds, fated to be a runaway for her whole life. Her secret was her destruction, and her entire life she waited for someone whom she could truly trust. He came in an unexpected form, as an enemy of Earth and the Avengers who vowed to destroy them. Yet little did she know that their fates were, ever out of their hands, completely intertwined. Insight: Where I Belong, in many ways or another, is a counterpart of Shadow Hunter. The difference here is that Ase, the OC, is not rescuing herself, but rescuing another. Everything about her, from her name to her appearance, is a nod to her true identity which you would discover by the chapter 8. She is silently rebellious, slightly capable of sarcasm, and curious. It has been an idea for quite some time, but because of school work I couldn't write it properly, until I revised several drafts I've made and publish it here. |
