07 / January / 2006 Currently working on: "Bursting into flames" A sequel of "The flame and the ember" (FaE), I'm extreeemly insecure about it, but hey', I'm pouring myself into it, check it out!

Story "The flame and the ember" is now COMPLETE. 15 chapters and a short epilogue included in the last one. I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support I got for it! To those who havn't read it and are thinking: "Hmmm" Go ahead_ teehee.

UPDATED: October 14th, 2005: Changed almost my entire profile. Also, New fic. It’s called The flame and the ember. Just uploaded chapter 2. It’s an egoshipper, of course. Hope you enjoy!

I'm Midnight Mist, I'm 17 and I've been writing fanfiction for some time now. I really do hope I’m getting at least a little better with practice, to always improve my narrative is a goal I try to reach overtime.

I am a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and also fan of the spinoff, Angel. However, when those shows ended my craving for Spuffy fanfiction (My pairing of choice) faded out. I’ve never been a true fan of pokemon, which is weird since all you see me writing about IS pokemon. I watched the first couple of seasons on TV when my schedule allowed it, and the characters kinda stuck with me. If there’s something to pokemon, is that it’s got such dynamic character, it’s hard to get rid of them:

My taste in pokemon fics is weird. My all time favourite fics are a series of pokemon one shots and ShanniC’s To the faithful Departed, which is an egoshipper; Acey’s Pokemon Master; which is a pokeshipper, and Maia’s Pen’ Watch Your Back; Which is a Gary-Misty-Ash Love triangle.

Weird choice? I was a pokeshipper before, not for thinking of Ash and Misty as “made to be” but because I was such a huge fan of Misty I just wanted whatever would make her happy. That was Before my imagination wondered off to the charm of Gary Oak. I think their witty personalities, huge egoes, clashing thoughts and rude manners would just make the perfect Love/hate relationships, and I love love/hate relationships, something that was reflected even back in my Buffy the Vampire Slayer days.

I am an Egoshipper. (Gary and Misty) An official egoshipper writer. I havn’t watched pokemon advanced, and have no idea what’s the deal with this May girl. But even though I was outraged when I found out they had pulled Misty out of the show, May did bring something new to the fandom. It was a new major ship. Which is advancedshipping; I tend to believe that somehow, May brought (Or rather, forced) tolerance in the fandom that back then would FLAME everything that did not start with “AA” and end with “ML”

I’ve yet not encountered flames of any kinds, and for that I’m grateful. It’s why I’ll say again: If you do not support the ship in the story and have no tolerance nor an open mind: DO NOT READ if you just KNOW you’re gonna flame. It’s certainly not insulting, rather just embarrasses the flamer.

Pairings:
Pokemon:
- Gary and Misty. Egoshipper. Why? Fantastic chance for those love/hate relationships we all like so much.

LoTR:
- Frodo and Sam: If yoy look up the word loyalty in the dictionary, you’ll probably encounter their photo.
- Legolas and Arangorn: Okay, so they’re both incredibly hawt. Sue me.

BtVS:
- Spike and Buffy: I have a thing for bad boys. And they hate each other. Which is cute.
- Tara and Willow: One of the few lesbian couples in TV. Completely adorable. True wiccan love.

Angel:
- Cordelia and Angel: One of those perfect best-friend-evolves-into-something-more relationship.
- Spike and Fred (When morphed to Illyria they were great!)

Card Captor Sakura:
- Syaoran and Sakura: I don't think anyone dislikes this pairing. XD
- Yukito and Touya: Perfect together.

I’m pretty friendly when you talk to me. If you ever want to contact me, leave a review, with your mail, and I’ll e-mail you. I have AIM, and call me reluctant, but I’m usually not too comfortable with leaving my e-mail address in the net.

Review! Constructive criticism and any sort of comments is the exact thing I need to improve.

Signing out,
Midnight Mist.
