![]() Author has written 1 story for Inheritance Cycle. Kvetha Fricaya - Greetings Friends Hi. My name is Antoine, although I don't really like it, and so I tell my friends to call me Twanny :) I'm 17 (yeah boyyy!!) and I plan on becoming an interpreter or translator. I really like learning other languages, but unfortunately in our country schools do not really focus on the oral part, they seem more interested in writing. I hope that this situation changes in the future and hopefully when I enter university I would have more time to practice on my oral skills. I currently know Maltese, English, Italian, and a bit of Spanish, which I will continue to learn next summer :) Pretty much I'm just an average teenager, with average problems, and average life. Yep that's me, an Average Joe. But I'm a dreamer. I dream of being free, able to do what I will, without any chains holding me down. And this information came (partly) from another of my favourite series, although this time, the series is on the PS console - Final Fantasy. Oh how I LOVE that series, especially FF12!!! Favourite books: Well definitely the Inheritance Cycle - just 100 more pages and I finish the cycle!! I just can't thank Christopher Paolini enough for this gripping journey which he has extended to his me and all his readers. Then I must admit that another series of books which I really enjoyed are the HP books; I mean, the amount of detail JK Rowling gives, it's just amazing. I am a HUGE fantasy lover person. As a kid I really enjoyed reading Roald Dahl's books, they were just full of creativity and imagination, I think that it was because of them that I got so much into the fantasy genre. Movies: Step Up 2. Nuff said. I adore that film, with all the spinning and the twisting and the break-dancing. I was just awestruck after I saw it for the first time, and I still am after seeing it for another 6 times. I also have an immense craving for MMA (mixed martial arts) movies -- Never Back Down is by far one of my favourite movies of this type. I like it also because of its story - a kid with some temperament problems learns to deal and eventually control his anger and finally kick the kid-with-the-perfect-life's ass. Anyway I just wanted to say that I wrote a short story, getting some ideas from my dearest books, and after I showed it to my friend (who is also a member in this site), he encouraged me to join this site and publish it. Many thanks DragoNik!! |
