Hello there! I'm Shay, a 13-year-old girl from Oregon who loves to write and draw! I've been writing for about three months now and it really keeps me busy. My favourite things to write for are Hunger Games and Alvin and the Chipmunks. I am slightly a Harry Potter fan, but I can take it or leave it. And I strongly dislike Twilight, sorry. Anyways, let me give you a more detailed description of myself.

I'm not the popular girl at school. Far from it. I don't have a large group of friends. Maybe two or three best friends, and then I barely get along with others. I've never been involved in drama, luckily, because I mostly keep to myself and my best friends hate drama. I may be quiet but I am also a very respectful person. It takes a lot to get on my nerves, because I don't take insults to heart. Although some people's personalities change online (they are more outgoing and daring because no one can see their face), I am still the same person, but I will state my opinion more professionally, while in person I might get a bit nervous.

Now that you know a bit about me, I can tell you a bit about my favourite pairings from books, movies or television shows:

The Hunger Games

KatnissxPeeta- This is my all-time favourite couple. Always has been, always will be. They have so much chemistry. It's a believable relationship because first, Katniss is kind of in denial, thinking she doesn't like Peeta and gets mad at him for saying that he loves her, even though it doesn't affect her. Then suddenly, he starts to grow on her, and she realizes that she loves him. It's adorable! It's not like in Twilight where suddenly Edward and Bella "can't live without each other" but there's nothing to build on that. And Katniss and Peeta have small romantic moments that just make you stop and go: "Aw!"

AnniexFinnick- At first, I was skeptical about this couple, but it's grown on me. To me, it is really sweet that instead of going for just an obsessed fan of his, Finnick fell in love with the crazy girl from his own district. The way he never lets go of her hand is so romantic. I won't spoil Mockingjay for anybody, so I won't say what made me cry in it. But I think Finnick and Annie are one of the most romantic couples I've ever read about in a book series.

Alvin And the Chipmunks

AlvinxBrittany- I honestly don't see what people have against these two. If you haven't noticed, they're counterparts. Brittany was specifically made to be Alvin's counterpart. I'm not saying you can't have mixed couples, but please don't say Alvin and Brittany can't work out. I know some people say they fight too much, but take a step back. Do they really? No. They're competitive. Being competitive is just their little way of showing each other that they like each other. Common thing between crushes. And if you watch the cartoon and the new CG animation movies, you will see the various hints they drop at romance.

TheodorexEleanor- I'm pretty sure that if you compared all of the Chipmunks' relationships with their counterparts, Theodore and Eleanor's romantic life is actually more visible than the rest. First of all, they don't go together because they both like food or because they both share love of the color green. Seriously. They have been best friends the whole time throughout the cartoon and all of the new movies, and Theodore is actually pretty romantic towards Eleanor. For example, in Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman, when Theodore finds the anti-werewolf necklace, before he finds out its use he gives it to Eleanor because he thinks it's pretty. You don't see the average boy give his best female friend jewelry. Not even Alvin or Simon.

I have many upcoming stories, so please stay tuned!
