![]() Author has written 2 stories for Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ. “I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hate so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with the pain.” ~ James Baldwin Salutations! I am known as Soaring Victory Star or more simply, by Soriya. To kick the ball rolling in the playing field so to say, I am a bit of an eccentric optimist even as this world steadily overflows with ongoing seas of pessimism and typhoons of negativity. Still, I digress, there is always a light to been seen for every shadow cast. On to oh so more pressing matters, I am now a twenty four year old student attending a small college at the moment until I advance to my preferred university. I am an aspiring Bio major and, with tenacity, intellect, and a smidgen of luck, I will be somewhere in the medical field in the next ten years. When that day comes, know that the voice you hear across the world shouting "Victory!" in jubilation...yes that is me. What to ramble on about now…writing has been a leisure pursuit of mine since I was about eleven. Around that time as well, I started getting into anime and fan fiction and now here I am, years later. One of my top priorities when writing fan fiction is to have canon characters remain as true as possible to their original personalities; I'm all about that life, so feel free to notify me if you think otherwise and I will do my absolute best to remedy it. I will most likely write stories from anime; I have loads of ideas, but little time. Shame, really. On one final note, do feel free to PM for anything or nothing at all. I’m an amicable, happy-go-lucky person, and I do enjoy making new friends. I’ll even read your stories (preferably a series I know, I will let you know of that). S.V.S approved Project 1 Title: Pentimento Category: (Anime) - Kuroko no Basuke Genre: Drama/Humor/Friendship/Romance/Hurt/Comfort/Supernatural Rating: T Summary: Meaningful and meaningless sceneries (memories) paint across a blank canvas, something stunning, something hopeful forming. Splashes of colors (people) follow — a wild amalgamation of vivid and monotonous, of infinite hues, shades, tints, and tones; a spreading imagery. Abruptly, rough smears (mistakes), hysterically poignant and painfully angry, stain and smudge the surface in an ugly style. Strokes fly in a desperate struggle to salvage (repentance) yet — through the heavy coat of gloss — faint and bleak, they emerge, an obscure presence — a raw image (reality) hauntingly beautiful, devastatingly futile. Main pairings: Akashi/OC, Kise/OC Side pairings: Kasamatsu/OC, various hints and mentions of OC/OC, unrequited OC/OC love Current status: Phase Three is in the works and is 35% complete. Projected date for next phase upload: TBA Additional information: My first ever fan fiction story on KnB series. In late August, I went to visit my mother and two sisters living in another state. The sister closest in age to me (three years her senior) introduced me to Kuroko no Basuke and, after binging it in five days together, found myself unconditionally smitten. I haven't written a fan fiction in the longest time, but KnB jumpstarted my metaphorical writing engine and here I am once again, relishing the prospect. This story draws inspiration from the various anime/manga I've watched/read over the years (most stories I post will). Project 2 Title: Iron Heart Category: (Anime) - Kuroko no Basuke Genre: Humor/Friendship/Romance Rating: T Summary: If someone would have duly warned Fujiyama Hatsumi of everything she would suffer all at the behest of one Kiyoshi Teppei, she would have ran away the first time she encountered him...and then, moments later, sprint straight back to him. Because he was completely worth it. Main pairings: Kiyoshi/OC Side pairings: Undecided (if there will be any) Current status: Working on chapter 4. Projected date for next chapter upload: 6-6-16 or sooner Additional information: A drabble-esque story with chapters under 1500 words. Expecting it to be around 15 plus chapters. Updated at least twice a month. Will also tie into Pentimento universe. Future Projects I have outlines written and planned already, but whether they see the light of day or not is subjective. |
