Author has written 1 story for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Hey everyone welcome to my profile I'm a 22 year old college student who in her spare time enjoys writing and reading OC fanfiction. That is fanfiction that has OC's in them. I'm a bit obsessed when it comes to Original Character creation. I've seen some good ones in my time on here. I've been on here since 2010. I've just now decided to finally create an account to showcase that. I also like realistic depiction of story elements, whether it be NCIS, Avengers or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I, as a reader and fanfiction author, find it increasingly infuriating that stories can get thousands of hits yet only a few reviews. What could take you five or ten minutes to read could have taken someone several hours to write and a lot of planning. Reviews encourage people and make them feel good about the writing. I, Agent Renegade 1, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the Review Revolution. Copy and Paste this into your profile to join the Revolution My First Story (Whoop Whoop) Current Stories: Welcome to the Misadventures at S.H.I.E.L.D. (OCs Needed) Summary: The Misadventures of various SHIELD Agent OC’s from IT Department to Records Division. See all the misadventures within S.H.I.E.L.D. From recruitment stories to survival tips (provided from Tumblr). Do these Agents have what it takes to be a part of the best agency out there? Can they survive the experience? Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D. Ladies and Gents we hope you survive the experience. Applications: Status: OPEN for all, and will Close when I have a decent number to work with. Send in those Applications ladies and gents, and we can get this series rollin'. Side Note: I'm writing this because I want to and I haven't seen something like this done before, and that it was completed mine will be completed. I've already got prompts in mind just need those characters. Send them on in folks. And...Go. S.H.I.E.L.D. Branches SHIELD CORE - U.S. arm of SHIELD, stationed in Manhattan, New York - deals with counterintelligence and espionage and intelligence gathering you know spy stuff also assassinations and the like. SPEAR - Asian arm of SHIELD, deals with issues on behalf of SHIELD in Asian countries EuroMIND (HQ in London, England, does have a satellite office at the HUB in the U.S.), deals with issues on behalf of SHIELD in all European countries, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain etc. There are offices in each of these countries. S.T.A.K.E. (Special Threat Assessment for Known Extranormalities) is a S.H.I.E.L.D. subsidiary that specializes in dealing with supernatural occurrences headquartered in Los Angeles, California) S.T.A.R.S. (Superhuman Tactical Activities Response Squad - deals with Mutants, Inhumans, Superhumans, and Enhanced individuals, Personnel (Agents) are Mutants, Inhuman, Superhuman or Enhanced themselves): Rules - (All Stories got to have them these are mine) 1. ) Absolutely, positively no Repeats allowed!: This is the number one rule to all rules. What does this mean exactly, I mean if you’ve submitted an OC to ANY Agents of SHIELD SYOC or Avengers SYOC before, you can’t submit him or her again to my story. I want fresh new ideas people. Also to tie into that I don’t want OC’s from other fandom SYOCs like say trying to adapt an X Men evolution OC for this Agents of SHIELD SYOC, or a Call of Duty OC for this story, or Supernatural for this story. Read #5 to find out loophole to this rule other fandom SYOC rule. So, long story short, no repeat submissions basically, and no adaptions from other fandom SYOCs. 2.) No characters that are relatives, sons or daughters, or anybody related to the Canon Characters. EVER!: This isn’t a Next Gen or Future fic people NO mini Fitz and Simmons, or mini Coulson’s and May’s. 3.) Two per person: You can submit two characters at a time. Why? Because I said you could. However there is a way around the 'Two per person rule' you just have to think and be creative. Only stipulation I have is that they be opposite genders, so don’t send me two females or two males. Also just because you may send me two Oc's of different genders doesn't mean I'm going to pick both of them. (Note: I don’t care if they’re of different sexualities I want them different genders and sexualities please) Or in other words, two per customer, unless you can figure out the way to get past that rule. While you're at it... 4.) Submission Requirement: To make sure we're on the same page and you've read the rules, please put “SHIELD Equals Protection.” in your PM. That way, I know you read the rules and I know it's your character. Why? Because it’s a paraphrase of something the great Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury says to the even greater Clark Gregg aka Phil Coulson in the first season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Speaking of PMs put in the Subject Line of PM: Personnel File (Your OCs Name) Ex: Personnel File: Mark Williams. I WILL NOT look at your OC if he or she is not submitted like this. No ifs ands or buts about it. Also it’s just easier for me to keep track of the PMs once they start flowing in. 5.) “This is just an application for Human Agents right?”: Not so my fellow Agents not so at all. That’d be boring and so not SHIELD if it was. SHIELD has had numerous other kinds of Agents. I will be allowing: Mutants, Inhumans, Enhanced and Superhumans as well as the generic 'boring' (not really) Human Agents. If you would like to submit one of those four kinds of Agents tell me so through PM and I’ll give you the additional power info section and such. I just didn’t want to overwhelm you all with the already expansive OC Form. Who I WON’T be Allowing: Descendants of Norse Gods, Supernatural beings (i.e. vampires, werewolves, dragons, elves, etc.) Who WON'T be in this fic: The Avengers, expanded roster or not. This is a series of stories about the Agents of SHIELD, not the superhero big shots. It’s time to let the little guys so to speak shine. 6.) “Author Liberties/Meddling Thing": If you hand me your character, I might need to tweak them a bit. You have to be willing to work with me on this. There can’t be any hard fast no negotiations at all on aspects of your characters. The changes would mainly be their codename and technical issues like dates of things and me asking for more description and detail. That's the most I'm going to do. I'm not going to do anything major like change their personality or anything. Just the small things. 7.) Be detailed Especially in appearance and personality. If you tell me your character has blue eyes and blonde hair there are still hundreds of ways they could look. The same applies with personality. 8.) Don't have contradictions: Someone can't be goofy and serious; your character has to make sense. 9.) Fill out everything. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Unless it says optional please fill it out. And with that said... 10.) Since I know this is a longer then usual application, I don't have a set deadline. Take all the time you need. I'll close the application if I get all the characters I need. When I do have all my OCs I'll post a Personnel Roster (Accepted OC's) list on my profile. Even if I get two or three I like right away I'll start writing, so don't freak if I start writing OCs and you haven't seen yours yet, they may show up. As for the characters I need... 11.) "The lucky number is…”: Six (6) OCs for the S.T.A.R.S. Field Ops Team I'm putting together. For the other Division OCs I need (1) HR Chief Compliance Officer, (1) Director of Accounting Dept. (1) Training Div. Instructor - Firearms Instructor, and the other three (3) are up to you. You can make them Rookie Agents, Junior Agents, any job you can think of someone in SHIELD having they can have it. Be creative. 12.) No Mary/Gary Sues: You know I had to put this in here just to put it in here, but not all characters are friendly, relatable supermodels so don't be afraid to give your character flaws, both physical and mental. 13.) Please! Please! Please! For my sanity! Remove the details/Info in brackets before sending in your character! 14.) HAVE FUN!!!! Go Forth and Create my pretties. Prompt Ideas welcome I’ve got the first four in mind already. 15.) Again, just a reminder delete [Everything in Brackets, when you submit an OC Please] Can't wait to see everyone's awesome OCs. Agent Renegade Out. Peace ya'll. Also check out my forum The Untold Tales of SHIELD. That's another way you can submit OCs as well. Just trying to get traction with this story. You want to know how many departments, divisions, and or subdivisions SHIELD has I'll tell you. You want to know all the little details that go on behind the scenes of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm your girl. While I may be female I'm here to give the Male OC's some love. I've seen far too many cannon character pairings with female OC's. (Don't get me wrong some of the stories are very well done others are just typical lovey dovey OC falls in love with Male Cannon character) Or not even that just them being friends with Cannon Avengers characters. So that is also why I'm here to show that Male OC's can be just as important as the female OC's. That'll be the OC's that my stories involve. Male OC's mostly. What I Like to see in OC's Good quality made OC's OC's with diversity (nationality, ethnicity, sexuality, ability - whether they have a disability or not) Detailed and well rounded OC's - Nobody likes Mary Sue's and Gary Stu's Research is your friend in the OC creation department. What Fandoms I like Avengers Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Captain America Iron Man NCIS NCIS: Los AngelesThat is all for now. Have an awesometastic day peeps. |
