![]() Author has written 5 stories for Misc. Movies, Misc. Books, and Touhou Project. Sycho Seth Burns I'm an inspiring writer, I hope to create stories that can engage, entertain, and enchant my readers. I love to write stories that can convey a wide series of emotions, and capture people's attention, whenever it's from entertainment or suspense. I want to be able to create stories that people can look back on and see as great works of literature (of course I don't mean that I'm trying to write professional books here, that wouldn't make much sense. This is just a medium for me to write on). And hopefully I will not be riffed on in a YouTube video for writing bad stories (Though I won't get all huffy if it does, it helps me become a better writer (and I just love riffs, so I'd get a kick outta it)). So I guess this is the obligatory past where I list likes/dislikes: Likes: Writing, drawing, listening to music (favorite band being Kansas), playing video games, and walking (preferably while listening to music). My favorite book series are the Discworld novels, I find them to be endless creative, funny, and wonderful reads. My all-time favorite movies are Kung-Fu Panda 2, Spaceballs, and The Spongebob Movie. Kung-Fu Panda 2 for it's fantastic storyline and ability to mix funny light moments and mature darker moments. Spaceballs for it's sheer hilarity and entertainment value, probably the greatest parody movie ever made. The Spongebob Movie for how funny and clever it is, and it hits me right in the heart with nostalgia every time I watch it (That lamp scene in Shell City nearly makes me cry every time man). I love video games and appreciate them as an art form, some might think this as silly, but I firmly believe it. My favorites are the Sly Cooper series, The Spongebob Movie Game, the Half-Life series, and Bully. Sly Cooper was my childhood, nothing else made me as happy as that game would (even swinging). To me the entire series from the 1st to the 4th (Yes, even though some would probably not like it very much, I still think it was good) are superb games and I love them so much. The Spongebob Movie Game to me is a hidden gem of a game, taking parts of the movie and building on it some creatively that I wish some parts of the game were actual parts in the movie, it's fun and very replayable and like Sly Cooper was a my childhood. The Half-Life series really needs no reasons, I can't think of a person who hates these games, but I'm sure there are (no hate to them, opinions exist for a reason). They are very well made and written, and create a fantastic world that fans like me love. Bully is an underrated Rockstar game, it has captivating characters and storyline, though the game is a little easy, I feel like that does little to take away it's quality. Dislikes: Cash-grab movies that take away attention from good movies that have actually heart put in them. Shutting down of alternate opinions (to me, all opinions, even ones you don't agree with, should be shared. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you have a right to do away with it (Yes, even obviously really bad opinions, if you shut down one view than you will start to shut down others)). Disrespect (This one is obvious but some people don't understand this. Every good-hearted person should be shown a certain amount of respect, just because you don't like someone or disagree with them doesn't mean you can just treat them like crap. You should give what you want to get). |
