Poll: Which fatal flaw should Ranulf have? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 1 story for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Name: That's for me to know and you to never find out. Age: Early Teens Gender: Male (I should hope so!) Location: Southeastern area of the US I'M BACKKKKKKK! Sooooo sorry, I hated abandoning you guys like that, but nothing I can do about it now. I will try not to do this again, but unfortunately, it might. I apologize in advance it if does. My Take on Writing: I will do my best to update as frequently as possible, but for the most part I will not sacrifice quality for quantity or speed. I also will only write when I feel like it. I'm doing this for my own enjoyment, not just to please readers. I'm not saying I'm a good author but you don't rush one. Look at Rick Riordan. He's taking a year to write HoH, and though the long wait may be painful, it will be worth it because it will be great. Yes, I don't like to wait and prefer quick updates, but badgering someone to write faster won't help. On the contrary, it will actually slow them down. Also, many people don't seem to realize that we (the other writers and I) actually are living, breathing humans who have to deal with the same things you do. We get angry and sometimes have things come up that may keep us from writing or make us not want to write. So be patient. You are welcome to remind that I have a story if, and only if, it has been a while (not just a few days). Suggestions: I am open to suggestions on what to write or what to put into my stories, but they are only that: suggestions. I do not have to do what you ask and don't phrase it like you are telling me to. It is my story, not yours. Also, I will not write Slash or anything that would cause the story to be M rated for sexual themes. And unless I come up with the perfect perfect story for it, I won't be writing FemPercy. Also, don't keep asking or assume I didn't read your message. I will do my best to read everything that gets sent to me. Reviews: Reviews are what give us motivation to write. I am fine with criticism as long as it is constructive criticism. If you have an idea of what could be better or notice I made a mistake, tell me. But be as specific as possible. And please try to keep the negativity down. I really don't care if you don't like the story but if you are going to tell me at least tell me why so I can possibly make it better. I cannot guarantee I will change anything, though, because of various reasons. As you can expect, positivity is always welcome. But as with negativity please tell me why. Don't just say "I liked it," because that does me no good whatsoever. If you tell me why, I will know I have done something right and can keep it in mind for later writing. |
